Black robes whispered, skimming over the corridor's cold stone floor as determined steps carried their bearer towards the classroom that served as the Hogwarts Headliner headquarters. Fingers gripped a piece of parchment close to Evelynn's chest, while brows pinched slightly with steadfast determination. This wasn't the first time that the redhead had found herself wandering in this direction, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. But hopefully it would be the last time with this particular piece of paper, and with luck she could rid herself of the belly full of butterflies.

The opportunity had come again. They were looking for a writer for the paper, and Evelynn wanted in. She needed in. If quidditch was an outlet for her physical self; study, an exercise of the mind; art, an expression of her soul; then writing and the deliverance of information was the calling of her spirit. That had always been the case, but it had kicked itself into overdrive with the mysterious events of the headmaster's disappearance, Potter trial, and everything else that seemed to somehow be connected in one way or another. She had done what she could with the founding of the Liberation Club, with spreading the word in her random encounters and the little library meeting, and at every other opportunity she could grasp. But…it just wasn't enough.

She needed something else.

She needed to go bigger.

The whole student body deserved to know. Needed to know. And she could think of no better way to accomplish this than through the use of the school's paper. Not to mention, bringing awareness in this way could help her find more answers. Thoughts and hopes of interviews and peers coming forward with new leads and hints and observations made her swoon with desire. Information. That was what she needed. Details. Knowledge. Informants. She had a whole board with which to play, but that was all. She needed the pieces.

Before the destined door, Evelynn cast one last furtive glance down the hall, then knocked. She dropped a hand to the handle and attempted to push the door inwards with an earnest call of, "Miss Séverin? Are you there?"

Admittedly, the Slytherin chaser scared her (just a little bit) and so Evelynn was sure to be as respectful as possible. Still, just as the Headliner seemed the answer to her needs, who better to solicit help than its editor-in-chief.
