Quidditch, Friends & Things
RP with @Lycan Grey
I sat on a bench, motionless, looking up at the Quidditch players striking through the sky and wondered what it would feel like to actually be in the Slytherin Quidditch team. I had come down to the Quidditch training pitch to watch the players practice and to finish my homework "how do broomsticks work?" I honestly couldn't care less how they work!
The players trooped back inside. I looked at my watch I had to get back to the castle before the curfew otherwise I would probably get a detention. I sighed, I hated being stuck inside. I swung my rucksack over my back and set off for the castle. I walked along the path whistling to my favourite song when suddenly I heard a voice yelling “You forgot this!” I turned around quickly and saw a boy running towards me...

Quidditch, Friends & Things
Lycan was unaware that the Quidditch teams, and hopeful individuals such as himself with dreams of playing the game, were already beginning to practice. He happened to overhear some students chatting about it in the hall way. The young Gryffindor grinned at the news. He got a firm grip on the books that he was carrying, and he began to run towards the Quidditch Training Area. At home it was rare they were able to play true Quidditch, in case the magic made someone nervous, but now at a school specifically for Witch Craft and Wizardry, he'd be able to see Quidditch at it's finest.
Unlike all the times he had lost his way towards other destinations, this destination he made it too without any trouble at all. He had to dodge a few students naturally, one or two he might've even been friends with or at least met, but that didn't slow him down any. He currently had tunnel vision, and all he saw at the end was the Quidditch on the other side. By the end of his run, when he stepped foot into the training area he wasn't even breathing hard, his excitement and adrenaline just blacked out every physical challenge he might've had.
He looked around the area, his eyes wide in wonder just from the space alone. He smiled and took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh wintery air. He turned his eyes upward, seeing all the students zipping around on their brooms. He smiled brighter, flying class was another thing he was greatly looking forward to now. Unfortunately it all ended too soon, Lycan arrived too late and didn't get to see nearly as much as he had wanted. He decided he would walk just one lap around the grounds to get a feel for the place, and just to prolong this moment.
He began walking along, whistling as he always does while he walks. As he was walking he noticed a Slytherin was also at the grounds, but they were packing up and about to leave. He tilted his head and glanced at his watch to see the time. Hm, maybe I'd better walk a little faster... I can come back tomorrow, I'll just get here earlier. he thought to himself. As he reached the bench the Slytherin he noticed they had left a belonging behind. Lycan looked ahead, and he quickly grabbed the object and started running after the Slytherin. "Hey, Slytherin! You forgot this!" he yelled, projecting his voice and enunciating his words. To his relief the student quickly turned their self. He assumed it was a girl based on the hair color, but he wasn't entirely sure. However, now that he saw them from the front and he was getting closer, she was definitely a she. Either that or he now understood the definition of a pretty boy.
He caught up to her, and he handed her the object she had left behind. "Here you go. If I startled you or something, my bad. But wasn't sure how bad you needed it. he said somewhat apologetically, and then he tilted his head. "Are you one of the players on the Slytherin team?" he inquired the young girl. "If you are, do you happen to have any tips? I'm trying to be a Keeper for Gryffindor myself." he said as he shrugged his shoulders slightly, looking into the girl's bright green eyes. Huh, her eyes kind of match her house colors. That's cool. he randomly thought to himself as he waited to see her next move.

“Oh, thanks!” I grinned at the Gryffindor boy, “I didn't know that I had left it behind.” he grinned back at me and instantly I could tell that he was indeed a troublemaker from his mischievous smile and the glint in his blue-grey eyes.
“So what were you doing down by the quidditch training pitch?” I asked him questioningly,
“Not much.” he shrugged.
“Me neither.” I responded, “oh and my names Sky, Sky Evans, what’s yours?”
But I didn't get to find out what his name was because at that exact second I saw a figure that looked unmistakably like the Slytherin prefect.
“What are you doing here!” she yelled, “its past your curfew!”
“Run!” I yelled at the boy and we immediately thundered down the path and round the corner, and hid in the nearest bush.
If we got caught we would be so dead.

"Oh, thanks! I didn't know that I had left it behind." the Slytherin girl said, her lips curled to a grin. Lycan smiled at her. "Not a problem at all." he replied. She asked him what he was doing there and he shrugged. "I want to join the Gryffindor team, and even if I'm not allowed I still love the sport, so what better place to hang out? I figured if I can't play at the very least I could watch it. Get a feel for it and all. Other than that though, not much at all." he answered her again. She soon introduced herself as Sky Evans, and asked him who he was. Lycan was just about to reply with his name, but he jumped as he heard someone yell about curfews. He went to glance at his watch, sure they had a little bit of time left, but Sky said, or rather she yelled, for him to run, and so ran he did, not even risking a look back to see the pursuer.
He ran with Sky until they had found a bush to duck behind, in which moment he ducked behind the bush with her, but he was reluctant. Once safely behind the bush he glanced around, surely there was a better place to hide than a bush? There were a lot of options, but unfortunately, Lycan wasn't sure if they had the time to get there. Moving to that spot could just as easily be as bad as staying behind this bush. He sighed quietly. He hoped they got enough of a head start on whoever was pursuing them, but if not, they were about to learn the hard way. He found a spot on the bush, enough for people looking out to see, but to anyone trying to look through it might not be. He saw the person approaching, and turns out it was a Slytherin student, but an older one. He reached the conclusion that they were most likely the prefect. In fact they almost had to be. Lycan bit his lip, holding his breath, trying to make himself feel as small and invisible as possible.
The footsteps got closer, and Lycan kept his breath stuck in his throat. He was a troublemaker sure, but he didn't feel like getting into a lot of trouble just yet. To their relief the pursuer passed them by. Lycan watched and stayed silent until the person was out of sight and out of mind before he looked at Sky. He couldn't help but chuckle lowly, and shake his head before he spoke, "By the way... Lycan. Lycan Grey. Nice to meet you, Sky. he said quietly, and he smiled at her.

Quidditch, Friends & Things
Interacting with @Sky Evansand @Lycan Grey
And which Prefect of Slytherin she was... In full Quidditch attire Nico had decided to do some practice laps on her tinderblast, zooming across the training pitch. It felt nice to be out. The gentle but cold breeze stroking her cheek. The days were shorter this time of the year and so the evening fell rather soon.
The moon was already peeking through the soft white clouds, reflecting in the young Prefects eyes. A perfect close for a day like this one.
Feeling fulfilled and tired, the redhead was steadily making her way down, until she noticed two students. They were clearly no Quidditch players, she hadn't seen them before. Nico wouldn't have paid too much attention until the one who seemed to be a girl, started to run away in full panic, calling her companion to follow her lead. Odd.
Nico was tired but she couldn't let this go unchecked. Those two were up to something... Don't waste time. These kids should go back to the castle.
Swiftly, the young Prefect sneaked up on them. She made sure that they thought she had left the scene.... Quite the opposite.
Sticking around the corner she could actually hear them conversing once more. Wauw... Their hiding skills were topnotch.
Nico groaned internally, annoyed that she still had to deal with these random kids who just HAD TO play hide and seek near the Training Pitch. They want to play? She'll give them something worthwhile.
As soon as they started conversing again, being careless about their surroundings, the dhampir sneaked up on them. Right behind them, as they probably were bonding to an incredible extend, Nico slowely loomed over the bush that was supposed to 'hide' them.
Her skinny, pale as snow hands, slid through the branches stealthily making an opening for her to crawl closer to them.
Her focus was on the cause of this event: the Slytherin girl...
Nico's iceblue eyes showed a hint of piercing red, slightly glowing in the shadow of the bush. Without warning her cold hand found her way onto the girls neck. This was sure to give the girl quite a scare.
You're gonna need a bigger boat
