Finally!
Janet jumped aboard the Hogwarts express breathless with excitement, "This was it!" She thought, "This was the day!" She said goodbye to her parents and she and her brothers separated, She dragged her heavy trunk up the stairs with all her school supplies from Diagon Alley in it and headed for an empty compartment. All the other ones were full. She stuck her head out of the window and waved goodbye to her parents, "Goodbye!" She yelled out the window, "I'll miss you so much!" she carried on waving frantically until the platform was completely out of sight. She drew her head in and hugged herself and just could not seem to sit still! She opened her trunk and began to look at her books again, for about the hundredth time that summer! She flicked through an interesting looking one called Hogwarts: A History and learnt some new things about the castle that she didn't know before, like that you couldn't Apparate inside the grounds, and that all muggle devices go haywire around the castle, and that if any muggle came to visit Hogwarts it would look like an ruined castle with a sign on it saying. "Dangerous Do Not Enter" Janet was completely absorbed in the book. for a while. She always found it hard to concentrate for too long on one specific thing, she soon began to feel quite lonely (even though she was only 6 minutes into the journey at this point) and wished someone would join her in this compartment, just as she was wishing this, someone did.

Finally!

Quickly hopping aboard the train for the very first time, Vikka was not nervous at all rather she was very excited to meet some new friends before reaching Hogwarts. She walked through all the kids who were chatting to old friends and finding a place to store their luggage. Vikka weaved her way through to get to the compartments. She finally reached one and slipped inside, closing the sliding door behind her. To her surprise there was only one other in here with her. The girl was Reading Hogwarts: A History which is one of the books Vikka planned to read first. “Hello, do you mind if I sit with you?” She asked politely, hoping not to be rejected. Vikka had her luggage stored already but kept a satchel on her which held her favorite and most important personal items. The trains whistle suddenly blew and all passengers were safely onboard and ready to go. The train lurched forward causing Vikka to stumble a bit as she took her seat. She rearranged her robes and got comfy. Looks like she was staying here now weather it was approved or not. Looking to the girl so focused on her book she spoke up again “I’m Vikka, what’s your name?” She asked a little louder this time.

Finally!
OOC: heyo! sorry for the late reply i forgot to bookmark this and didn't see it! and u just highlight ur text and click the button with the underlined A and click the colour u want to change colour!

At first Janet didn't notice her as she was at a certain point in the book which she actually found quite interesting about the Hogwarts Ghosts and badly behaved poltergeists.
“I’m Vikka, what’s your name?” She asked a little louder this time so I could hear her.

"Oh sorry! Hello Vikka! I didn't see you there! My name is Janet and I'm starting at Hogwarts for the first time this year! And I am so so so so so so so soooooooo exited! (really exited in case you could not tell) How about you? Is this your first time as well? Also I talk quite a lot so you will have to get used to that if you are in my year and house!"
She grinned at her and added for good measure,
"What lesson are you looking forward to the most? I wish we could do Care of Magical Creatures this year that will be so much fun I'm so looking forward to third year! I am also looking forward to Defence Against The Dark Arts and Charms and Flying class! Oh and Transfiguration! haha I guess I'm looking forward to basically everything!"
