Remy was in absolute shock. It had been a couple of days since his little scandal with Dinara Lucey and Marla Quinlan. It had ended in quite the mess, to put it down simply. Remy had yet to recover from this, vent out his frustrated feelings and thoughts on some kind of platform. To think that he was fooled like this, humiliated! He was under the impression that Miss Lucey and him were some kind of friends! Now the disappointment, anger and sadness were to be transferred on paper. He was going to write an angry - no, just disappointed letter to the girl.

And so he did. Marching into the owlery, making his strides echo as he stomped through every step, Remy had brought a piece of parchment, a bottle of ink and a quill with himself. Wrinkling his nose in distaste, he dropped himself on the ground, angrily dipping said quill into the ink and pondering on how to start his letter.
To Whom It May Concern (Miss Dinara Lucey),

It has come to my attention that you are a LIAR, and your faux pink mink coat should be set on FIRE. You have me absolutely flabbergasted! I can't believe that you and Miss Quinlan conspired against me like this! Besides, you totes McGoats owe me another gummy and Shannon an apology. But that's not the point! My point is that you should stay away from me and never ever talk to me again!
Remy looked at his letter, that had started to look more like a sad little post-it note. Filled with spots of spilled ink, crowned with poor handwriting and words crossed over, he wasn't exactly happy with his parchment of hatred. His words carried no emotion compared to what he was feeling. The boy felt like sniffling and growling, but all of that was empty now.

A part of him was glad that Dinara was not the child bride he had believed her to be. Another part of him was beyond angry that she had thought that it was a funny joke or something, to play on his nerves like that. Sighing to himself, he crumpled and tossed the parchment aside and mumbled something mean under his breath about Timmy Patterson and the whole fake wedding that Miss Lucey had orchestrated in an attempt to piss Remy off. Maybe a little part of him inside was angry that she had succeeded in it, feeling rather embarrassed that he fell right through.

Putting the quill down and closing his little jar of ink, he was at a loss. Their relationship had been rather unusual since their first meeting. He hated her guts, the very intestines! Yet he also missed her and the excitement that she had brought in his life, sharing things with her that friends would usually tell and do. Sniffling to himself, the boy was determined not to start bawling his eyes out here in front of all of these eyes of the watchful owls. God forbid Dunkin would be here, reporting what he had seen to the girl!

The fat bird that so many students affectionately knew as 'Dinara's Dunkin' rarely frequented the Owlery -- a place of such poor taste could not possibly be fit for an owl as magnificent as Dunkin, no. In fact, Dinara had taken to placing a fluffy pink pillow near the window sill of her dorm room (much to the dismay of her poor room mates) for Dunkin to nestle into. Unfortunately, this meant that Dunkin was very much denied of the delicacy that is the occasional treat that students would toss to the owls.

The quick fix to this, as any right-thinking being would do, would be to leave the fluffy pink pillows that Dunkin called home and invade the Owlery for some well-deserved snacks.

That was exactly what the immensely greedy owl was up to on this Friday. With an incredibly undignified shriek, he shot in through the window and barrelled straight into what he thought was an unusually lanky owl. Which was an odd notion in itself -- there weren't many owls that were taller than Dunkin around.

It seemed like some kind of a weird coincidence, then, that Dinara happened to be grooming Dunkin in the instant that he took off. The girl ran after him, forgetting to adorn her usual tiara and ridiculously bright makeup. In what could be one of the rarest moments in Hogwarts History, Dinara finally looked like a normal 12-year-old girl again.

With that being said, she still had on her fluffy pink bunny slippers beneath her school robes; drawing snickers from passing students as she raced through the hallways.

Finally reaching the Owlery (very much out of breath), she froze, her face an expression of absolute confusion. In front of her was an enraged Dunkin, snapping his beak at what seemed to be... Remy Alto?

Dinara scratched her head. The boy did have quite the knack for getting into odd situations, so she wasn't too concerned about the predicament that he was currently in. If anything, she was more worried about his poor, fat, rat, who is likely to be viewed upon as a great delicacy to the many owls in the room. Stuffing her fingers on her lips, she let out two sharp whistles, which sent Dunkin running over to her side, hooting quite excitedly. She raised an eyebrow at the boy.

"Sending something out for Valentines, or summat?"

As usual, Dinara had missed out on how watery his eyes had looked, or the fact that he was holding what seemed like a hastily and very angrily scribbled letter. To be quite frank, Dinara felt rather awkward facing the boy like this. She hadn't exactly gotten over the aftermath of her little... Mishap. Words couldn't even begin to explain the utter mortification that she felt after Marla's transformation had worn off and her little scheme was exposed.

Still, she stood her ground with all the confidence of Dunkin, staring down at the boy haughtily.

He was so busy trying to scribble that poorly written letter of anger that he didn't hear any owl flying in. No, not even the larger than life Dunkin. He had previously made fun of the owner's short height and the absolute massiveness of the owl, but now he couldn't hear either of them entering. No matter how loud her heavy stomps were, he was so blinded by rage (if a twelve-year-old boy could even feel that), that he didn't hear anything. Completely blocking out everything except for his rather comical sobs and sniffles echoing in the Owlery, he tried to assault his face by rubbing his eyes violently, attempting to get rid of tears welling up in the corners of his eyes.

Blinking rapidly, he finally got rid of the worst part of his little tantrum. Remy bunched up the letter in his hands, unhappy with his creation. Suddenly hearing some kind of knapping, lazily rolling his eyes to see what it was, groaning, it took him some time to recognize who, no, what it was, and he almost gasped in horror. Dunkin, his rat's natural mortal enemy. Immediately clutching to his rat and hiding Shannon by dropping it inside of his shirt, he glared at that creature.

"Shoo! Scram! Go back to your mommy." He tried to drive the owl away, but it stayed right there, staring at him with its big, round eyes. Remy knew that seeing Dunkin here wasn't a common sight, so he immediately felt wary, cautious. Why was it here? To spy on him and his rat? Steal the letter he was writing and rip it to shreds. To be honest, Remy wanted to do the exact same. It was so mind-bogglingly bad and he couldn't convey half of the things he wanted to say to her, tell her how things were.

Hearing someone breathe raggedly in the staircase, Remy quickly snapped his gaze back before himself. He didn't want for her to see how he was out here moping while she was having the time of her life. Scrunching his nose in dismay, he could hear her approaching. Panic settled in, his face turned into a frown and his eyes assumed his usual, Alto trademark glare.

Remy could tell it was her by the whistle. Just as he had expected. Hearing that usual accent of hers, he couldn't help but scoff. Hiding the letter against his chest and looking down his shirt to make sure that Shannon was still alive and breathing, he wouldn't need to send out that letter anymore. He could just tell her what was going through his mind. But when presented with the opportunity, he stayed quiet. Lips completely sealed - uncharacteristic for the boy who was quite famous for not shutting up.

Glancing behind his shoulder, he saw that cocky face of hers. What did throw him off his course was her appearance. No, she wasn't wearing her scandalous hot pink makeup or that terrible ramen noodle hair today. Flickering his eyes down, at least she was still staying true to herself with those pink slippers. How did her parents even agree to buy those? His eyes meeting hers again, he let out a small 'hmph' out and crossed his arms over his chest.

"I'm not talking to you." Remy said, discrediting the fact that he just did.
