[font=Times New Roman] Upon Inspection Albert is actually a pretty average looking boy. At a glance he doesn't seem much different from the next eleven year old magic user. Well rounded and not appearing to scrawny, but certainly not the hammerfisted bully from down the street either. Always a stiff proponent for hygiene, Albert is always washed and smells nicely if encountered early in the day. Fancying himself an adventurer and detective, he also quickly finds himself dirty and ragged. Though he has come to enjoy the look, stating it looks 'Cool'. On closer inspection Alberts better features shine. A handsome lad, his real charm comes from his eyes. A dark chestnut color that reflects nicely in the light, they help highlight his moods. Making him more serious and dark, or warm and inviting. The young man is also gifted with a very expressionate face. Capable of wiggling his eyebrows, winking and crossing his eyes, and can even make a clover with his tongue. So far these seem unrelated to his magical ability, but Albert is yet to rule it out completely. Since robes have become a required part of his attire, he wears them almost always. A lot of the time even when he does not need to attend class. He appreciates the protection they offer to the adventuring wizard. They're also nice and warm with inside pockets to hold writing tools, his wand, and other gadgets like his rememberall. But he often prefers browns, blues, and warmer clothing. [font=Times New Roman] Who's You? Albert has always been a little odd, but overall is a happy and healthy boy. Naturally very curious and diligent, he has a wide collection of small facts he builds up from incidental research. An excellent student when it comes to actually applying knowledge, but easily distracted by topics he finds more interesting. Albert is obsessed with mystery, adventure, and crime. His favorite fictional reads being Sherlock Holmes and the Dresden Files. His own discovery of his magical powers have only enforced his vision of his future. Albert seamlessly transfers between serious and somber while staring at his book to jovial and loud at the quiditch match or a game of wizards chess. Although friendly, he does have a slight problem keeping or making close friends. Having a habit of becoming absorbed by his projects, investigations, or whatever he may call them. Often forgetting due dates, events, sometimes promises. The balance of the two eluding Mr.Hess often, but a constant goal for him to achieve. Alberts parents have always been a very strong proponent of his studies and Albert has always wanted to be what they looked for. But his natural stubbornness and lust for adventure creates this hard working, intelligent, reckless, and easily distracted wizard.[/font]

[font=Times New Roman] Born to Anna and Conway Hess, Albert was a good sized baby at about 8 pounds. Outside, the winds buffeted the hospital. Rain fell in an aggressive assault against the windows, filling all silence with the thunderous voice of the storm. The two parents cradled their young, attempting to shield him from the noise. Albert slept soundly, the turmoil and ambiance of the storm a sweet serenade. Conway Hess is a chemical engineer in employment by a pharmaceutical company, an intelligent man that worked diligently to escape the poverty he was born into. Anna Hess came from a very similar background, and now is a software engineer. Both of his parents had worked hard and sacrificed much to rise out of their previous situations. As such they sought to teach their child of the values they held dearest, and protect him from the miseries they felt. Their family was small, consisting of only the three. His father had come from a broken home that left Conway without a family, or at least one he would want associated with his child. Anna's past however would seek out their child no matter how well they hid. In generations past a witch had fled the wizarding world and fallen into hiding among muggles. The history of how Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandmother entered the family, the curious early death of her husband after the birth of a single son, and her mysterious death that led to her body being lost to a crumbling cliff over the sea, cast a doubt on just how honest this old lady was... Regardless, evil concoctions and foreboding witches put aside, Albert was born healthy, and grew happily. He was a quiet child. While that did mean he was not a big cryer, it did mean he often found himself some trouble and wouldn't be found till he had his fill. Albert had a taste for the mischievous, but has never been malicious. His brand of trouble was normally comprised of being where he shouldn't, having things he shouldn't, and ruining his school shoes. As a young boy he was once found to have wandered away from a school trip and was found outside a closed office building, he told the police officer "Thought I saw a ghost go in there." Upon being invited to Hogwarts, Albert was ecstatic and couldn't believe his luck. In his own mind, this was clearly the exposition of his own story. He was no mere detective as he had thought, no no. He is a Wizard Detective![/font]
