History: Lore Solaris is an aspiring witch who enjoys drawing, reading and star-gazing. She is bright and creative, but can also be very rebellious and a bit spoiled. Quiet and reserved at first, she keeps mostly to herself until she gets to know people. She has been known to play pranks on people, and she has an untarnished record of never getting caught doing so.

Raised in an upper class pureblood wizarding neighborhood, her father walked out when she was very young, leaving her mother and the house keepers to look after her. Lore found solace in books, and expressed herself through art. Most of her time was spent alone as a child, since she had no siblings or friends. This has made her a bit socially awkward, but she tries her best to be kind.

Lore's first signs of magic surfaced at a very early age, not long after her father left. Her mother found her sitting on top of one of the highest bookshelves in their massive family library, seeming to somehow have magically either floated or teleported in order to reach the highest books. Being from a prominent line of purebloods, this came as no shock to her mother, who was a very talented witch in her own right.

Her mother, Raelle Solaris, is a gifted Seer who was once married to a very affluent wizard. Lore knows next to nothing about her father. She knows that he left when she was barely a year old, he was very rich, and that her mother was able to somehow "inherit" most of the money when he left. 

Regardless, Lore enjoyed a very lavish childhood, making her a bit spoiled. She also has a very deep seated need for friendship, since she was alone most of her early years.

The one "person" she misses most from home is her family owl, Jareth, who is a beautiful barn owl. She developed a very strong relationship with the creature at a young age and it broke her heart to have to leave him behind. 

Appearance: She's of an average height and has a peachy skin tone with a smattering of freckles across her nose. Her creamy golden blonde hair is usually in various styles of braids but is most often worn in 2 braided pigtails that go just past the shoulders. Her eyes are a deep sapphire blue with no other discerning traits. She can usually be found either with her nose in her sketchbook, or gazing up at the night sky. When not in her school uniform, she enjoys wearing lots of comfy, stylish clothing in various hues of blue & black. She is always seen wearing a curious accessory - a small navy velvet ribbon tied around her neck. She wears it to remember...something...
