Nickolas Callaghan | First Year | Slytherin

Jack Callaghan, a Muggleborn and Victoria Blackglass, a pureblood, were both students at Hogwarts. The couple had fell in love during their Seventh Year. Having struck down as highschool sweethearts, they carried the title until they both had a career which one could deem as stable. As Jack had found his job as a supervisor in a local shop at Hogsmead, Victoria was offered into one of the departments in Ministry of Magic. After years pursuing their career, they both eventually settled down and had a wonderful wedding to knot down the tie. Later, they moved into a humble house in Godric's Hollow.

Born in the middle of the night of 19th August, 2008, Nickolas Callaghan was the firstborn of Jack and Victoria Callaghan. A night to remember for the Callaghan family, to bring someone new into their life, a common night to anyone else.

Nick's childhood was filled with love and joys, as his parents always try to get home early and spend sometime with Nick. As both of them had jobs to do, they had brought Nick's grandmother, Cecilia Blackglass to take care of Nick when they were away. Nick loved his grandmother very much and often loved to listen to her peculiar tales.

Having both Hogwarts alumni, Nick was expected to continue their legacy there. Often  they asked Cecilia if Nick had any accidentals that would show any sign of magic. At the age of seven, Nick was crying when he knew that his friends had planned a sleepover without inviting him. As Cecilia was comforting Nick of it, she saw a spark of fire kindled itself at the fireplace. It was the sign that his parents had hoped for. A sign that in future, a letter would come by their house.
