Donny didn't know what he was supposed to do. He didn't even know this person. And ever since he signed up for this secret Santa, he had no idea what he was supposed to get this person. The person in question of course was a teacher. A very specific teacher. A teacher he knew nothing about, for he was only a second-year. He did know, however, that she was very eccentric with what she wore. She wore colorful headdresses, robes, and necklaces. But it was still quite a difficult decision finding a gift for her. What better though, then a wonderful Scarf from madam malkin's? He decided stopping by the best clothing shop in Diagon Alley would be the best decision for a gift. As he walked into the dusty shop he looked all the magical shelves. They were filled with wonderful blouses, magical shoes, and even the best of dresses. But no such scarf was in his vision as soon as he walked in. He went up to the front counter looking at Madam Malkin herself. "Do you have any, magical scarves per say, in stock?" he asked awkwardly. 

Without speaking, she got up from behind the counter and walked him to the very back of the shop. There was barely anything there, so he expected there was to be something cool or unusual that he may be able to find. The Madame showed him to a small rack filled with many scarves that were full of color and pattern. She walked towards the rack and shoved behind all the beautiful pattern scarves to find a small brown one. "Is this the one you would like?" she asked him pointing the brown scarf. He looked at it awkwardly, wondering what the purpose of it was for it was not as colorful and patterned does the rest. "Oh Deary no! it's not just brown, it's a very special scarf if I may say so myself." said the Madame, as she placed the scarf around her own neck. And right before his eyes the scarf changed colors! It also changed patterns! And it was now even more beautiful than the rest "Wow!"  Donny said looking at the amazing transformation. It was better than he'd ever imagined. Instead of having to just choosing one color, and one patterned scarf, he could choose one that was all in one.

"It's called a mood scarf dear." Said the madam pointing to the scarf.  "It changes depending on your mood! If you're sad," she pokes the scarf, "It turns blue." and blue it was. "If you're furiously angry,"  she poked the scarf again, "It turns red!" Donny's mouth was left agape at the amazing transformations. "Wow, I never thought that would do such a thing." but he did remember you could never expect to little from The Wizarding World.  He thought for a little while, and his pocket thought even heavier but then he made the decision. "I'll take it!"  he said confidently. "It's a gift for somebody so I'm hoping they'll like it." he told the madam. "Do you think you could wrap it?" he asked her. "No problem dear." she replied happily. "Anything else for you dear?"  Donny thought about it for a second. "No thank you, I think this is good enough... I hope!" he added.

"Thank you for your purchase here at Madam Malkin's clothing shop!"  she said handing him the scarf wrapped in a wonderful red paper. "Thank you as well madam!" he said leaving the shop.
