@Jack Warren, resident Hufflepuff stud muffin looked exactly like the hottest guy in the school @Paracelsus Alger Myth. Well, at least in Erin's objective, non-biased opinion. It is not as if the heart makes one fonder or one's face fairer. It was distracting to watch admittedly, but she knew he was up to something. She just needed to find out what.

She did what any reasonable, emotionally labile, unstable teenage girl would do in a similar situation. She 'liberated' a large potted plant. It was not just a potted daisy, it was a small tree. With her 15 strength, the brute of a girl could carry the incredible load. It was the perfect camouflage. Nobody would suspect a bush

...in the halls.

...in the abandoned bathrooms.

...waiting outside the Hufflepuff dorms.

...in the small hall.

She caught view of him again, well at least his glorious ass. In hot pursuit! She would heave the plant to about waist height and scurry after him. When he stopped, she would stop as well and duck behind the potted plant and peer at him through the leaves. the leaves were not as thick as they used to be, broken branches and lost foliage from her rough care of the plant. What was he up to?

Luckily for @Erin Ryan, Jack was pretty oblivious to things he wasn't directly looking for. The boy's week was relatively monotonous on most occasions. Class, food, class, study, repeat. Of course, there were slight deviations from his routine. The occasional mischief or hanging out with friends. However, the weekend was his favorite time. Most Saturdays he devoted at least a small chunk of time for exploring the large castle. The large open rooms and long hallways of the old castle had quickly fascinated the young Hufflepuff. He knew that there were hidden secrets in this magic-hocuspocus-school, and Jack was determined to find them.

It was around nine o'clock in the morning on a cool December Saturday. Today was the day that he decided that he would explore the large grounds of the magical academy. Maybe he'll find some sort of hidden tunnel to a dragon's hoard of gold. It had never occurred to him that a tree had been inconspiculusly appearing around him. In his mind, Jack just figured that the trees around the place just looked like one another. It was strange... he kept getting the sneaking suspicion that a pair of eyes were boring into him. With a shake of his head, he just assumed that he was being silly and imagining things. Steeling himself, he was determined to find something today. Jack just had a feeling that something exciting would happen today!

It was somewhat monotonous. Jack was for all intents and purposes playing his role of student well. Classes and meals occupied most of is hours, there was also some semblance of social ties. She resented him for stealing her paramours face, for flaunting it about this Scottish castle the way that he did. She did not know the sort that Jack hung around with but it was unlikely they were of the caliber her Paracelsus would be seen with.

Then finally, opportunity knocked. A break from habit. Jack, if that was his real name, was detached from habit. He was on the grounds looking in the oddest of places. She was not certain what he was looking for or why a rock or a bare bit of ground would be relevant. It was somewhat cold outside, the tree/bush she was carrying with her was the only one with foliage as the leaves from the trees native to the grounds had fallen away some time ago.

Oddly enough Jack would find something of note as he searched the grounds and it was not Erin. It would be in the courtyard.

At the base of the fountain there would be something queer embossed into the smooth stone. It was a simple symbol that appeared to have been scratched out. The symbol itself was so badly scratched it was impossible to tell the finer details of this circular etching, however the actual symbol was deeply embossed into the central fountain.

If Jack knelt down to assess the strange markings, the 'tree' would inch closer and closer. She could not see what was so interesting. Besides, it was freezing cold outside. Why wasn't his death witch secrets indoors. She would wait, wait until he left or revealed the secrets of whatever it was he was doing.

Was this where they hid the bodies?

It was darn cold. She rubbed her arms, using the friction of her movement for warmth. She was also impatient. With a glower on her face she would gather a handful of snow on the ground and lob it over the potter plant at Jack. She intended to hit him and she hid. Well, she poorly hid at the potted base of the plant, her hand planted again in the icy snow as she readied another handful of snow.

If he recognized her hiding spot.

"Drats! TELL ME YOUR SECRETS DEATHWITCH!"

The perennially (it would seem) mad part-Veela would cry as she hurled another snowball at the unfortunate, curious Hufflepuff.

His gut feeling was so strong! Of course, he knew he could find something today! After weeks of constant exploring, he had found himself in the courtyard. The chilled breeze tickled at his cheeks and turned his nose a bright red. Jack could feel his lips starting to sting and dry as well. An idle thought crossed his mind about having some chapstick back in his dormitory. He really should start carrying that around with him when he was outside.

In the long run of things, his mental reminder to keep a stick of chapstick was eventually null and void. The reminder was gone! Poof! When the slight indention on the side of the flat stone of the large central fountain. How in the world had he not noticed this before! Jack must have walked by this dang thing over a hundred times by now!

With all else forgotten, the boy quickly dropped to his knees and brought his nose up to the circle pattern. Had he seen this before? No, he didn't think so... With a soft gentle touch, the boy placed a tough padded fingertip against the worn and scratched symbol. "What in the sam hel-"

His query was cut off as a large ball of lightly frozen water politely knocked against his head. And by politely knocked against his head, he means absolutely smothered against his ear, temple, cheek, and part of his left eye. The cold stung, but there was most definitely enough power behind the throw to knock the boy from his crouched position. It took him a second to notice that he now had a rather poor headache. Whoever had thrown that ball had really rung his bell.

As soon as his faculties were back with him, Jack quickly scrambled to his feet. The movement was just a tad bit to fast and reckless as his foot caught the edge of an icy patch of the terrace. Of course, that only made his mad scramble into a furious dance to remain standing. As a casual observer, Jack would have never noticed the poorly hidden CrAzY Slytherin behind the potted plant that had been mysteriously following him. However, Jack-a-boy wasn't a casual observer. In fact, he was being rather active in his search.

Finally! He had Finally spotted her! Upon the second that he had laid eyes on her, @Erin Ryan jumped from her hiding spot and screamed 'Drats!' (Who even says drats nowadays?) 'Tell me your secrets Death Witch!' like a banshee! Before the young Hufflepuff had the chance to reply to his stalker, another snowball zipped through the air and nailed him again directly in the face! What poor luck! Once again, Jack found himself on the ground. His tolerance for shenanigans was rather high IF it was him doing them. This was not the case and annoyance quickly built up in his chest. Biting the inside of his cheek, Jack once again took to his feet.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?!?" He yelled back. The cold strained at his vocal cords, and he knew that his voice was going to go hoarse very quickly. Scooping down, Jack gathered a punch of snow of his own. After a second of packing, he launched a snowball back at her! "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A DEATH WITCH IS, YOU CRAZY PERSON!"

She had clocked the Death Witch with a ball of snow. Well snow packed tightly enough to make a little ball of ice before she hurled it at the unsuspecting doppelganger. One for drama, armed with a handful of snow she leaped out from behind the planter once she was spotted.  A full armada of snowy weapons at her disposal, she was at an advantage here in the courtyard.

Boof!

And so was he. A firmly packed ball of snow hit her in the jaw, breaking into tiny bits of snow that would shower over her. Some found their way down her shirt. Cold she mouthed with an expression of annoyance.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?!?"

He complained. There was nothing wrong with Erin Ryan. "With me!" She repeated incredulously. "You're the one walking around looking like that!" Yes, she was still on about him looking like her boyfriend @Paracelsus Alger Myth. If she stopped to think for a moment, it would only make matters worse when she realized that it had been the better part of a year since she had last been physically present with Paracelsus.

Jack Warren was probably a skin walker. No, those are only animal. She would know that had she paid attention in class. She never did.

Erin lobbed a snowball at Jack. The attack was less than accurate, it might have grazed an elbow or a shoulder as it whizzed past and broke on the ground behind them. She had a powerful arm, the snowball would seem to explode when it impacted the ground.

"I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A DEATH WITCH IS, YOU CRAZY PERSON!"

He threw another snowball. Erin was not particularly agile. She was more like a juggernaut, the was going to go through her obstacles rather than around them. Jack was no exception. She was hit in the shoulder.

It was too late, Erin was already coming.

The anthropomorphism of a bull, Erin leaned forward and rushed Jack. She had never seen Muggle football, but any muggle that had watched Sunday night football knew exactly what she was trying to do. "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT A DEATHWITCH WOULD SAY, DEATHWITCH!"

Jack had been lucky enough to land a direct hit right across Erin's jaw with his ball of snow-packed divine fury! This entire situation was weird, but in his brief experience with his new stalker/ assaulter, this was about par for the course. He can't help his beauty, it was just natural! (And his uncanny resemblance to one "boyfriend" of Erin Ryan) The hoarse call of an angry boy was cut off as the she-beast, known as @Erin Ryan, threw another snowball at him. Jack being the lithe fellow he was, was able to barely sidestep the cannonball of snow. It barely grazed his shoulder and ear, but he could swear that he heard cracking as the snowball landed against the poor stone floor. Retaliation of course ensued.

In preparation for another volley of snowballs, he looked down at his feet. The worst mistake of the day... The loud stomping of Erin's feet had quickly alerted the boy to his folly. The she-beast! Jack couldn't tell if it was his overactive imagination or the possibility Erin might actually be part bull, but he could have sworn that she exhaled heavily, sending smoke from her nostrils. As the cold mist lazily drifted upwards, the outline of horns framed the beautiful girl's head.

"THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT A DEATHWITCH WOULD SAY, DEATHWITCH!" she screeched, as she charged.
"Oh shi-" was all he managed to say before a shoulder made contact with his stomach. With a single swift, "Oof!" all of the air in Jack's lungs were expelled. The contact with the ground wasn't much more comfortable.

There he lay, Jack the slain. A boy without air or strength. Today was the day he was going to die. He was okay with that. The boy lived a long twelve years, and hey, he still had his first kiss. That's more than a lot more than other twelve-year-olds could say. Even if his murderer is the one he shared that with, but Jack could safely say that is was not completely terrible.

Finally, his body allowed Jack to gasp for air.

As a result of this melee Erin and Jack both suffered a barrage of snowballs. She was defending the world from Death Witches one snowball at a time. She did not take the time to ponder why Jack had taken her paramour's perfect face. She just knew that Jack had stolen the wrong man's face

She charged the boy, her shoulder low enough to hit the Hufflepuff just beneath his ribs. Her right arm wrapped around the boy, aimed for the small of his back. The locomotive force coupled with her meager mass and her obnoxious strength was enough to knock him off his feet and onto the frozen floor.

Having the wind knocked out of you feels a lot like dying. The desperate need for air. The hunger. How his chest would scream for it. With wheezing breaths, air would fill his lungs. Erin on top of him. Not as pleasant of an experience as being yearned for, he was wanted by her in another way - dead. Well, not dead yet. First time pinned by a girl as well, not a particularly pleasant experience. She was not heavy, barely a hundred pounds, but she had leverage and he had-- the wind knocked out of him.

Her goal, pin his wrists before he caught his wind. Even if she grabbed his wrists and planted them into the snow next to his head before he caught his breath, she had not grounded herself yet over him. Her knees between his. "Tell me Death Witch... why are you working with the giants! What is your plan!" Yeah, she was still on that.  Her knee would move upward.

The harsh departure from his feet and the rather rude arrival to the ground was not the most pleasant of his experiences Jack has had with Miss @@Erin Ryan Actually, the boy would have much preferred another royal snogging over this little game of wrestling. At least while doing the former he could get away from the girl. Ragged breathes were being forced in and out of his lungs, and he tried desperately to regain some sort of normal breathing pattern.

Before Jack even came back to his senses, his arms were already pinned down up near his head. His legs were kicking wildly to free himself, but he could feel the resistance was futile. This was quickly followed by more questions about his affiliation with giants and the accusations of death witchery. "Wh-why are you so-- stron-strong?!" He managed to wheeze out. It felt like he was trying to climb to the top of Everest as he spoke. "I ser-seriously don't know what you're o-on about." Slowly he could feel the life-juice known as air fill his lungs once again. However, something even more worrisome arose. Her knee was going somewhere where knees should NEVER go. Any man could attest. "He-Hey! That is so not cool!" A panic rose in his voice, and he struggled, even more, to get out from underneath the girl. "Please, just listen to me, I'm not a stinkin' death witch!" Jack's pleading voice betrayed the fact that he knew this might not be a very good day.

There were things that Jack did not know. Things that he did not know about her and Paracelsus or even the student body for that matter. He would have gotten some notion of her maddened thought process from the crazy things she has said, is saying. That there was some sort of dangerous conspiracy that was ongoing at Hogwarts, one that she believed Jack was involved in.

Little did Jack know however, that things were soon going to get much... much worse for him than an angry part-Veela that thinks he is being clever by looking like someone else. There was another Jack, one that looked eerily similar to Paracelsus as well. More similar than Mr. Warren presently did in this light (since changing his avatar).

She was crazy, that much was obvious but she also had the physical strength to inflict her crazy on others. She gripped the boy that resembled her boyfriend only in the vaguest of manners at this time and slammed his wrists onto the ground. Erin was not a large girl but she was powerful and uncompromising as a force of nature when her mind was set on something. Straddling a young man was normally a more pleasant experience.

"Wh-why are you so-- stron-strong?!"

Warren complained.

"Not all of us have the passion necessary to rely on a slender rod of wood." A truth dictated by the madwoman.

"I ser-seriously don't know what you're o-on about."

He was catching his wind. Her knee was moving precariously close to something precious to him.

"He-Hey! That is so not cool!"

He complained. "Just tell me your plan," there was slight movement and a hint of pressure.

"Please, just listen to me, I'm not a stinkin' death witch!"

"I can make sure your entire bloodline ends here witch!" Erin shouted.

Little did she know, the very person that she was searching for (LeStrange) would show up in the Common Room only mere days later. That another student that looked eerily like her boyfriend and oddly enough shared Jack's first name would be there. That there interaction here and now would not be their last. "At this point I don't even need him alive," she was certain he was dead. "Just tell me where you hid his bones!"

Feel free to fight back, if she is shifting her weight to press on something that means she has less weight and leverage other places.

This boy did was not welcoming to the idea of death. Actually, death could screw right off. Jack Warren was not just about to lay there while this girl pummeled him to death. To think that this was all because of a stupid case of mistaken identity. Luckily fear was not a word that lined the pages of Jack's mind. Fear had no place, and any sense of fear that may have been rising like black filth in his head was quickly suppressed. A nice heavy mental boulder was set neatly atop the deep cavernous hole that his fear resided in. No more of that nonsense.

It was time for the boy to free himself. Jack could feel that Erin was starting to spread herself thin trying to keep his arms pinned whilst also threatening bodily harm to him. This was his chance! Suddenly Jack's arms shot upward above his head as if he was on a roller coaster, but with less screaming.

If his plan was successful, the boy would kick his leg across his body in an attempt to cover up his most valuable parts and start an attempt to roll away from @Erin Ryan the madwoman!
