Errol Morgan is an eleven-year-old wizard who has been sorted into the house of Hufflepuff upon her arrival at Hogwarts. Coming from a blood-line of Gryffindor wizards, she is a pure-blood, but she does not judge people based off of their heritage like some pure-bloods do. Like a majority of her family, Errol was born and raised in Ireland under the care of her Maimeó [ grandmother ] due to her parents travelling for their jobs. Errol's mother is a Magizoologist so her job takes her far while her father is a Herbologist who tags along on his wife's journeys- together they have three children; Errol Riona Morgan, Oisín Morgan, and Eveleen Bridin Morgan. Errol is the oldest of the group, followed by Oisín who is nine and Eveleen who is six.
Like the majority of her family, Errol has a mane of curly jasper red hair, a characteristic everyone but Eveleen and their mother have, the two of them sharing straight and glossy black hair. Errol, though, does have her mother's ocean grey eyes- the whole brood does. Errol is all arms and legs, with large eyes that she has yet to grow into, hopefully, that'll change soon. Coating the back of her shoulder blades, across her upper cheeks and on her chest there is a sea of freckles from years spent playing beneath the sun. Errol's skin is as pale as ashen but turns red when overcome by emotions.

Errol Morgan, a Hufflepuff
Pre-Hogwarts // Errol, for most of her life, was raised in Knockvicar, Ireland under the care of her Maimeó. At age four, when Oisín was just a two-year-old babe, Errol's parents dropped the two children off and left to go to South America for field research. Errol was originally born in London, England but she moved to Ireland before her first birthday where she ended up living in Kinsale, Ireland until her mother became pregnant with Eveleen and moved the whole brood to their Maimeó's house. Although she has very little memory of living with her parents, she does remember them constantly travelling around the world and one specific memory of holding her father's hand as they walked down a street filled with colourful buildings.
Errol didn't struggle much getting over the absent of her parents, not like Oisín, she was able to accept it quickly, knowing that they'd come home someday- it also helped that they'd write letters to each other that usually contained photos of her parents alongside some magical creature they had stumbled upon while on their journey. Errol greatly enjoyed her Maimeó's secluded cottage and the lack of society's rules. She could run around barefoot all day, climbing trees, stalking animals, and roll in mud, as long as she returned for her three meals. The land was like Errol's own kingdom and she ruled it strictly; whenever Oisín and Eveleen wobbled after her to join in her adventures, Errol quickly shook them off of her tail by climbing trees they couldn't even reach the lower branches of or racing away, taking advantage of being the strongest while it lasted. For a while, it seemed like Errol didn't like her siblings which worried their Maimeó greatly, but over time she began to fit into the role of being the oldest sibling.
Being homeschooled, the only contact with children her age came through her family, which she had a lot of. Her best friend growing up was her mother's cousin's son; Noland, a boy with curly black hair and striking green eyes who is a year younger than Errol. Noland and his father often visited the property so Errol and he ended up becoming close, often leaving the younger kids to go off and explore on their own. Noland was the only best friend Errol ever had, but a year ago the two got into a big dispute, the only one Errol has ever been in, over pure-bloods and since then the two have given each other the cold shoulder. It was Roland who had shown Errol how to feed the wild weasel roaming the property, a chore the girl did every day for three years without fail, because of this exchange, many of the weasels became friendly with the child but Errol does have a few scars on her fingers that prove that although they may be on friendly terms, there were boundaries she couldn't cross with these creatures.

Caoimhe "Maimeó" Morgan － a former Gryffindor with greying curly fire orange hair cut short into a bob and seaweed green eyes. She is the grandmother of seven, most notably Errol, Oisín, and Eveleen whom she has raised. Caoimhe strongly believed in learning lessons from life which was why she let the children do what they want, only enforcing a handful of necessary rules. Often Errol looks back on what Caoimhe had said to her and taught her, seeing the old woman as her role model and an inspiration for who she wants to be.
Quinn Morgan － one of Caoimhe's sons and the father of Errol. A largely built man with curly orange hair and eyes as green as his mother's, Errol mainly remembers him for the scar he had that was shaped like a crescent moon, running down the side of his right face. It began at his temple and ended at his chin, a scar he received when he first met Betrys. Quinn mainly took care of Errol, most of her memories of her parents are either holding his hand or of being on his shoulders and looking at his bouncing curls. Their relationship is very good for being so far apart, this mainly stems from them exchanging letters with one another.
Betrys Terrwyn Ithel Morgan － the mother of the Morgan brood, she is a small woman with long glossy midnight black hair, olive skin and charcoal grey eyes, an appearance Errol has always been envious of. The relationship here is strained due to Betrys being so awkward, she is an introverted compared to her extroverted daughter, so they don't really see eye-to-eye when it comes to interacting. Although Betrys doesn't know how to act around her children, she does love them dearly, often sending great treasures over to them from her travels. When Errol was just a babe, Betrys sacrificed herself to prevent a Runespoor from attacking and killing her child- in turn, she gained a large scar from where the reptile's venomous fangs pierced her. After this incident, Betrys refused to go back into the field with her children.

Errol usually describes him as sensitive, out of the three children he took the separation from his parents the worst. For days he cried, followed by weeks of silence and solitude until after three months he finally rejoined his siblings as a shadow of his former self. Oisín is kind, but he also has a short temper that sometimes leads to violence which is why their Maimeó treats him like he is fragile. Oisín is described as being short and clumsy, but their grandmother promises them that he'll turn out a giant like their father, because of this Errol takes advantage of being the dominate child while it lasts.
Eveleen Bridin Morgan － the youngest child of the brood and a carbon copy of Betrys. Out of the three children, Eveleen gets spoiled the most, her Aunts and Uncles treating her like a Princess because of her looks and how well behaved she is. When not in the spotlight she can be found glued to Oisín's side, following him around like a lost puppy because Errol is mostly out of reach. Errol feels uncomfortable with Eveleen, often avoiding her due to not being sure how she feels. Time after time, Eveleen has been chosen over Errol causing a slight feeling of jealous that Errol refuses to acknowledge.
Noland Murray － the son of Errol's mother's cousin, Noland was Errol's first best friend, often visiting during the Summer months. Noland had a dominant personality that often crashed with Errol's own as they struggled to take control over their adventures, even though the two argued often, they somehow managed to get along. Errol taught Noland how to call a bird down from the sky, while Noland taught Errol how to befriend the wild weasels in her yard. The two had a fall out a few years back when the topic of half-bloods came up. A Majority of those on Errol's Mother's side are Slytherins, including Noland's mother so the boy has negative views on whoever is not a Pure-blood.
Rhys Dagda Cullen － An older cousin of Errol who lives in London. In man in question is twenty-four and is one of the only known family members to be sorted into a house other than Gryffindor, specifically he was sorted into Ravenclaw which he constantly brags about during family reunions. Errol has disliked him since she was a toddler due to his tendencies to look down on everyone else other than him.
Lyall Morgan － One out of five of Caoihme's children, making her the aunt of Errol although not a very good one, usually favouring Eveleen the youngest out of the three siblings. Lyall doesn't hesitate to show her dislike for the other two, often comparing them to Eveleen's personality and appearance both of which have charmed the woman. Lyall has a strict personality which is easy to dislike, often times Errol's Maimeó tells her that its due to being the youngest but that answer just doesn't sit right with the child.

Varya is the daughter of Anastasiya Nikita, a Russian girl who had attended Hogwarts after being expelled from Koldovstoretz in her first year, where she befriended a young Caoihme. Varya was born in Russia where she too attended Koldovstoretz, but once she graduated she moved to Finland where she began to breed raptors which she has been doing for over ten years. When she comes to the UK to sell her birds to interested Wizards, she stays at the Morgan house, her birds kept in Errol's room. At the age of eight, Errol began to be taught how to handle these large birds by Varya, learning how to hold them safely and also how to call them down from the sky. Varya is Errol's rolemodel and sister she sees her as the older sister she never had.

Family Portrait － A month before being sent off to Hogwarts, Errol's family, including her often absent parents, came together to take a rare family photo so that Errol could take it with her when she left for school. The small bed-side picture is inside of a hazel-wood frame, handmade by her Maimeó out of a branch from the tree she often sat in at home.
Garnet Necklace － When Errol was born, her grandfather on her mother's side gifted his only grandchild with an uncut garnet the size of a fist that dangles from a copper chain. Shortly after he passed away due to sickness. When the necklace is around her neck, the garnet rests just below her chest, fitting loosely but somehow it never falls past her head.
Hand of Fatima Ring － Believing that he would miss sending Errol off to school, Quinn mailed a gold ring with the Hand of Fatima on it, a good luck charm for her. The ring is small but on Errol's thin fingers it often nearly falls off, sliding past the knuckle of her pointing finger when she is not careful. Errol often loses it, but somehow it always finds it's way back into her possession.
