Antonia stepped into the study room. It was quiet but not empty, full of students that were either trying to get in that last minute studying or at least look the part. She herself carried her own study materials, which consisted of her History of Magic and her Transfiguration books, along with some parchment and writing utensils. If was hard to just carry those things around, which is why she thanked her mother for having bought her a satchel, which was dark purple and covered in faux fur.

She wandered to the back, her two blue ponytails swinging back and forth, until she chose a table with no occupants. Antonia preferred the quiet when she did anything concerning her academics, even though that barely helped. It was better than no effort towards the betterment of her grades. She half-hoped that no one would disturb her during this grueling task.

Antonia organized her material accordingly, starting with her Transfiguration homework. It was the most daunting, in her opinion, with all of the formulas and symbols she had to study. She wasn't the best at memorizing uninteresting things so Antonia decided to focus on the most difficult part.

Before starting, she adjusted her green and silver tie, looking around. She spotted a Ravenclaw and wondered if they actually liked what they were doing, this studying. Back home with her tutors it was always an onerous task to get little Antonia to do her academic bidding. She liked reading books, story books, but the ones with billions of words that made next to no sense to her? She often just threw them away, straight into the fireplace.

But now, unless she wanted to look bad to her peers, she really needed to take things seriously. Antonia put her best look of determination on to encourage herself and dived into her work, her favorite sparkly pink quill in hand.

Penelope had always liked the study room. It was nice and quiet, and no one was obnoxious or loud. People would walk in and out, and everyone was focused and on task. She had been studying her charms homework, which was by far her least favorite. She had finished everything else, and she had to finish this daunting task before she could go out to the Great Lake and watch the waters. She decided she needed a quick brain break, so she watched th door for a little while. Students walked in and out quickly, slowly, loudly, quietly.  A girl with hair in two blue ponytails walked in, and she looked as if this were the last place she would want to be right now. She held a satchel at her side, and it was dark purple and very furry. Penelope noticed the girl was not afraid to stand out.  The girl wandered around a bit, and then settled at a small table that was empty. She shuffled around papers and such, and Penelope realized this girl was not about to look her way, or take any notice of her. She turned back to her homework, done people watching, but then she felt eyes on her. Had she done something strange? She looked around and noticed it was the blue haired girl looking at her. This was very odd. Had she noticed Penelope watching her? Penelope hoped not. She enjoyed people watching, but hated it when people noticed. She looked back at the girl again. She had on a face of set determination, and Penelope decided not to bother her just yet. She would sneak glances over at her, and when it seemed as if she were finished, then Penelope would talk to her. It was almost a foolproof plan.

I stuck my head in the door finally. I've been lost for god knows how long and I'm annoyed now because I missed Defense Against The Dark Arts, I hate the way the stupid corridors have to always move this place is already difficult enough to navigate without the halls changing and stairs moving. I step inside and look around I don't see any empty tables so I automatically go to the least populated one in the room. There's only one girl at the table and she had blue hair and a purple satchel that for some strange reason seemed to be fluffy.

I stride over and sit at the table, if I'm not mistaken I've missed lunch which sucks because I'm super hungry. Nevertheless I sit down and decide to draw for a while so I pull my sketch book out of my bag along with my quill and ink. I open the book to the first blank page trying to keep myself from going insane. I can't keep on with this act. I am gong to go crazy if I don't write to mom soon. I'ts been three weeks I need to write to mom, Dustin and Lilly now. I pull out a piece of plain parchment but as I do I knock my ink over, manage to let everything in my overstuffed satchel fall out onto the floor creating a loud chorus of crashes. This ticks me off even more and when I speak my Scottish accent becomes strong and clear and my English one seems to fly out the window.

" Oh for bloody god's sake, why does everything hate me today"
When I look around the room I notice almost everyone is watching me, yay.
Well this is just great, I get onto the floor and begin to pick my stuff up.

I'm not crazy I just see the world differently to the people who think I'm crazy

Emika had been catching up on her reading and writing her observations on the books she was reading. She had just gotten into an incredible Muggle book about a girl competing in a competition that could take her life. Hunger Games was so interesting to her! She had written pages of notes on it so far. She suddenly heard a large crash and turned around to see what had happened.

She saw a girl had dropped all her stuff at a table near hers. "Oh, dear. Here, let me help you." Emika said as she got up and began to help the girl pick up her stuff. "Oh good. The ink didn't get on anything! You have good luck." She spoke with a soft voice and had an easy smile on her face. "I'm Emika Brown. Nice to meet you, though I wish it wasn't when your stuff had spilled." She giggled slightly as she placed some of the things she picked up into the table. "You're in my year, right? You look familiar. Gryffindor, correct?" She smiled. "I remember seeing you in a class and in the Great Hall occasionally. Sadly, I cannot place a name to your face."

It doesn't really matter who you used to be, what matters is who you've become.

Penelope noticed more people go over to the girl. Perhaps were curious about her too. She got up and walked right over. "Hi, I'm Penelope." she whispered. She didn't want to make a lot of noise. "Need help? She picked up all of the rest of the scattered papers and put them neatly in the girl's bag. "Well, that was quite the scene now, wasn't it?" said Penelope. She regretted it as soon as she said it.

The girl new she had caused a ruckus, so why did Penelope need to point it out? She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. This was always how she came across to people, she was used to embarrassing herself. The only problem was, she didn't mean to!

"Uhm- I mean- perhaps we can move to the library. We can work all together there, without being at a squished table! And we won't have to whisper." she said quietly. The real reason she wanted to move to the library was because everyone here was staring at them, and it was not fun. She grabbed her bag quickly off of her table and put her books back in it. She would have to do her charms In the library. "So, want to come?" she asked. It wasn't rude or aggressive, she was being nice and plain. They could come if they wanted, it was up to them.
OOC: The girl who started this thread hasn't been on since the day she registered, it's been about a month. I think it is safe to say that we can relocate now,  I'll make a new thread named "Noticable Notations Follow Up" in the library.
