Compartment 19
Steam bellowed from the train as it prepared for its departure. Kira had been one of the last children to get on, and was definitely glad she hadn't been late for it. Stepping into the train, the smell of leather and velvet and ash greet Kira's nostrils. She immediately scrunched her nose up, somehow finding the smell unpleasant. Looking around, she found that most students had already taken over their own compartments, and that most had already been filled up. Sighing, she headed over to the near end of the train, lugging her baggage along with her. This is what she gets for ignoring her alarm clock earlier this morning.
As she passed the compartments, peeking inside each and every one, she found that they were always full, or nearly, at least. She had passed one compartment containing two children, however decided against joining them, as they seemed deep in conversation, and did not want to interrupt them.
Near the back of the train, Kira had finally found an empty compartment, Compartment #19. She stepped in, and lightly smiled to herself, glad on finding a compartment just for her. With a grunt, she heaved her luggage onto the overhead storage, and took a space on the red velvet train seat, right beside the window.
