The kept promise  Solo   Completed
ARRIVAL AT THE PLATFORM
The train arrives right on time, the big locomotive slowly stops moving and the many students start to grab their belongings, ready to leave, which causes chaos in the corridors; there’s a lot of talking and pushing, but no one seems to complain about it. Platform 9 ¾ is full, as always, the boy notices once he jumps out of the Hogwart Express, hiding beneath his warm trenchcoat and sweater, hands inside his pockets. There are a lot of parents waiting for their children, and amongst them, he spots the two people he’d been looking for, noticing another one that he wasn't expecting.

Virgil Lee runs towards them with the biggest smile on his face, one that could easily put the sun to shame, and his family, very busy talking about whatever it is, only notice him because he attacks Mihyung Lee is a tight hug. The man stumbles back when his son jumps on him, letting out a burst of loud laughter, "Ay, 아들!"

"I was so worried that you had to go back to Sweden," Virgil confesses, letting him go, taking a good look at the man. The last time they’d seen each other was back in September when Mihyung surprised him by appearing in the middle of Platform, hiding underneath an invisibility cloak all along. His father looks healthier and happier this time around.

Mihyung Lee is a tall and strong brown-haired relatively handsome fella, with deep dark-brown eyes and a beautiful smile. Nothing compared to the short, pale and "soft" Virgil (that looks extra small hidden underneath all that layer of clothing). Looking at them together, no one would say they're related.

"I promised, didn’t I?" Mihyung smiles; big and bright, running his big and scarred hands through his son’s hair, messing it up. He analyzes his son, only to notice the boy hasn't grown a single centimeter. It makes him chuckle at the only resemblance between the two of them because he used to be very short at that age. "Besides, I let my best people taking care of the dragons. Nothing will go wrong." Hopefully, he adds in his mind but doesn't say anything, knowing very well of his son and ex-wife's anxious tendencies. "I'll stay around until you get annoyed by me!"

"Then you'll stay around for a very long time," says Virgil, smiling sweetly, cheeks red, and so turns to his mother, that smiles welcomely, and the person next to her, that stands there with a grand smile and knowing look in their eyes. Virgil frowns, confused, but moves towards them with open arms, "What are you doing here brat? Where's aunt Jessica?"

His favorite cousin, the one and only, Trent Armitage, hugs him once he's close enough, "Virge, man, as tiny as ever!" The Slytherin tries to end the hug, but he's considerably weaker, and so Trent laughs, squeezing him with more force. "Merlin, I missed you, you weakling!"

Blair Armitage, Virgil's mother, the quiet and beautiful witch who watches the scene with a simple smile on her face, frowns and gives the boy a stern look, but says in a rather controlled tone, "Trent sweetheart, please be careful, you know Virgil's fragile,"

Letting him go, still laughing, Trent pats Virgil in the back, as the other rolls his eyes at his mother's words, "Right, sorry, auntie," As Virgil hugs his mother and is bathed by her kissing his cheeks ("mum, people are watching," he complains to no avail), Trent continues, arms crossed, "Have you seen my sister, Virge?"

"No," says Virgil, finally free from his mother's embrace. He glues his eyes back to Trent; just like his father, he's tall and charming, with his curly brown hair and dreamy eyes. Trent is looking around in search of his sister in the sea of wizards and witches, an unusual frown on his face. "I haven't seen her in these three months. She's been busy, I guess."

It's true, sadly. Ever since he got to Hogwarts, his contact with his cousin had been non-existent. Virgil complained about it to Trent via one of the many owls they exchanged, but the other only said that his sister's been acting weird all summer, telling him not to worry about it. Well, Virgil can't not worry about it. Worrying is what he does.

"Oh, look, there she is!" says Mihyung as he points to a figure that is leaving the train, holding hands with another girl. Sarah Armitage clings to her girlfriend as they both leave the Express, walking in the opposite direction to theirs. Mihyung yells, without thinking twice, "Sarah!"

That gets her attention.

All four of them get to see the moment embarrassment washes over Sarah's face when her eyes glued to them, and she kisses her girlfriend goodbye; a quick peck on the cheek and runs in their direction, looking around, nervous about something. Staring at her like it's the first time they met, Virgil notices that her hair is spikier and her face is awfully red.

When she gets close to them, Sarah says, clearly frustrated. "What?!" Her blue eyes stop on Virgil for a second, like he's to blame, and the poor boy doesn't know what to feel about it, but he takes a step back just to be sure.

To which Trent only replies, "Great seeing you too,"

"Oh, shut up," Sarah rolls her eyes, looking over her shoulders, trying to find her girlfriend. When she doesn't, the girl crosses her arms, an even bigger frown on her face. "Can we go now? I don't want my friends to see me with a first-year..."

Virgil gives both Trent and his father a worried look, but his cousin only shakes his head, a quiet way of telling him to ignore it. He does, of course, not wanting to get his cousin more frustrated. Blair, however, doesn't ignore it.

"Sarah, honey, what's wrong?" His mother asks and, sure, her voice is sweet and there's a calm smile on her face, but it's clear that she doesn't like the way she talked to her son. Virgil looks the other way. Blair's always been like this, protecting him from anyone.

"Nothing's wrong..." Sarah prolongs the words, tapping her feet on the floor. Virgil peers at his mother face, to see that the witch sighs, but doesn't say anything else. Playing with her dark wavy hair, Sarah asks, "Can we go now?"

And so they go.
