Penelope eagerly went up to the shop window of 'Flourish and Blotts." The sun was just rising behind the stormy clouds that threatened snow later in the day. Penelope peered in with wide eyes. The store was not yet open, but she could already see the wide selection of books. She had only been in here once before, and that was when she was just picking up school supplies. Now she had the choice to pick out anything she wanted. In the corner, there was a sign that said, "Fantasy" that was where Penelope would be headed. As soon as the store opened, she ran inside. She bought all of her books, and then shoved them all in her book bag. It weighed down her shoulder, and she was afraid it would rip. She thanked the person at the counter and walked out, feeling rather accomplished at her book finds.
