Lindsey was nervous and excited the whole drive over. " I can't wait " she said with a big bright smile. Her dad was driving her. And she was driving him crazy she couldn't stop talking about how much fun it would be. She imagined what she school would look like. She imagined a castle with a huge gate and 100s of students walking around. She wondered if she'd make friends. And if the kids would like her. When they got to kings cross station her dad took her trucks out of the car then on to the trolley.  Her heart was pounding and she was fidgeting with a pen from the car. " are you ready sweetheart " her dad said to her. " yes father " she said putting the pen down and getting out of the car. They walked to the brick wall were platform 9 3\4 is. They saw a young girl who looked to be the same age as Lindsey run through it. She was worried she would mess up. " would if I do it wrong dad " she said looking nervous. " you'll be ok sweetheart " he said reassuring her. " now be good for your teachers and class mates " he said said to her. " don't worry dad I will " she said giving her dad a hug " I'll miss you, mom, Maya, aspen, Sal,  grandma, and grandpa. Take care of guppy, hammie, and Chevy please. Love you dad" she said. " we will miss you too. Of course we will take care of them. Love you too" he said letting her go. " you better hurry" he said looking at the time. " ok bye dad" she said pushing the trolley. " bye. " he said back. She took a deep breath and made sure no one was looking then she ran through the wall. She looked around seeing everyone getting on the train. She looked to see if anyone she knew from her old school was here with no luck. She then got on the train at sat with a few new students like her " hello " she said with a smile " I'm Lindsey what's your name " no one replied so she just sat there. She was looking out the window waiting for the train to leave. " this is gonna be fun ". She said to her self.

Mica Johnson was terrified as her father hugged her one last time.
"Be good, Mica, okay? We'll see you at Christmas," her dad told her, his glass green eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. Mica didn't want to let go, but she put on a brave smile and nodded.
"Okay Dad, tell Auggie and Lyon I love them!" she whispered into his ear. Her dad chuckled, promising to do what she asked. They had walked from their apartment to the platform 9 3/4, and so he stood back.
"Just walk through, Mica! Love you!" he called.
Okay, you can do this Mica. Dad's letting you be independent. You get to go to Hogwarts, and you get to make lots of new friends and learn lots of cool stuff and-
Who was she trying to convince? Her dad? Who knew that she would be okay? Or herself, nervous and ready to run into her dad's arms and wail that she didn't want to go?
She was too close now. So, taking a deep breath with her suitcase in hand, she sauntered through.
The train was gorgeous. Big and steam ran, like her brothers' toy trains that her dad had got them for Christmas. In fact, maybe her dad had gotten the toy train because it looked like the Hogwarts Express.
She didn't know anyone, and so she walked through with her head down until she saw an empty space to sit. It was with a group of others, but everyone was silent and so she just sat there, jittery and ready to run off the train.
Finally, a new girl appeared. She said her name and asked for theirs.
Great! Someone to actually talk to!!
"Hi, you're Lindsey, right? I'm Mica Johnson. It's nice to meet you!" Mica talked, not even really sure if the girl was listening. As long as the silence was broken.

" nice to meet you " she smiled . She was clearly a muggle born. " have you started any of the reading yet " she asked then pulled out Hogwarts a history from her trunk it has a book mark in it on the last chapter. " I have already started I already read fantastic beasts and where to find them and I'm almost done with Hogwarts a history it's all so fascinating don't you think" she smiled.

Once she starts talking it is hard to shut her up " maybe I could make some friends it would be nice to have friends and they are magic like me. Would if I'm not good at magic and they send me home I'd be really upset since I love this all so much " she thought to her self

" she seems nice am i too boring and nerdy I mean who reads the school books before school starts " she thought to her self.

" do you know about each house and their traits of so what house do you want to be in? I heard about them in diagon alley I'd like to be in ravenclaw they are so intelligent but my dad thinks I'll be in hufflepuff I don't see myself as a hufflepuff " she said @Mica Johnson

"I read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them almost as soon as I got it! I love to read, and I really like all the magical creatures," Mica told her, smiling.
"It really is all so interesting. I didn't even know my dad was a wizard until I was seven, that's when my magic showed up!" Mica giggled as she remembered the surprised and confused faces of her parents.
"Yeah, I know of the houses and all their traits. My dad explained a lot, he was in Slytherin when he went to Hogwarts, and I hope I'm in at least any of them! He thinks I'll be in Hufflepuff or Slytherin like him. Sorry, I'm mentioning him so much by the way- it's just I miss him a lot already. This is the longest I've been away from home, except if you count a vacation to France."
Mica placed her hands on her lap, still smiling.
"I think you'd be great in any of the Houses, Lindsey! They'd be lucky to get you," she told Lindsey, blue eyes bright with excitement.
"So, do you have any other siblings? I have twin brothers named August and Lyon. I wonder if they'll end up wizards too- they're six," she asked.
They're both so wild and carefree. It'd be hard to teach them anything if they do have magic!

" i miss my dad too and yes I do have siblings I have 2 older sisters named Maya and aspen and a older brother named Sal they are non magic Sal was the most jealous when I got my letter he always believed in magic and I didn't then I got my letter he would love it here I miss him and my siblings a lot and how we prank each at this time of year my brother is 12 and my sisters are 14 and 16 " she said with a smile and she has a American accent.

" what class are you most looking forward to? I'm very excited for potions and charms" she said then she moved her gold color rimmed glasses from forehead to her face. Her hair was in a high ponytail as it was most of the time. She was in a blue striped shirt and jeans. She looked like typical nerd but she liked her style.

" do you have any pets? I do I have dog named Chevy and a fish named guppy and a hamster named hammie. Silly names right" she said with a big bright smile. " now that think about it slytherin sounds cool to be in maybe I'll be slytherin " she thought to her self @Mica Johnson
