Owen's impression of Hogwarts was... well, he was on the fence. On one hand, he was very entertained at the complete shitshow that'd taken place at the ball, but his date did ghost him. And, y'know, people got hurt of whatever. He'd left before anything too horrible had happened, luckily.
"These Brits have really got to get their shit together, huh?" he commented, smirking a little. Him, Don, Hunter, Delia, and Evie were hanging out by the lake here, which was one of the things Owen actually liked about this place. Hogwarts wasn't actually bad at all, of course, but he was getting a little homesick for Illvermorny, to be honest. And Quidditch. He was very homesick for Quidditch.

Illvermorny wasn't really the same school it used to be, though. Owen, who'd gone out of his way to make friends with half-bloods (though there were very few at Illvermorny) and muggleborns at Illvermorny to annoy his parents, had heard about some of the things going on in the castle.

Take Kathryn Goodwin, for example. She's a friend of Owen's, a very close one, actually. They talked a lot, and Owen had heard about the extra curriculars she'd been offered right before she was going to leave for vacation, including this. She'd refused, though, insisting that she needed to see her parents, because she'd been getting fewer and fewer letters from the until they'd completely stopped writing at one point. Owen wondered how she was doing.
