History/Background Story: Years ago on the seventh of January, Ayala and her twin sister, Michaela, were born in Liverpool, England. For cruel reasons, her parents, specifically her mother, abandoned them both at the doorstep of an elderly woman's home. The lady could not care for them, because she feared that her day was coming, so they were sent to live in a prestige orphanage for the troubled. Ayala and her twin were raised there, but instead of luck things only worsened. Her twin sister was born blind and suffered from many ailments, such as eczema, schizophrenia, ADHD, and many other things that their guardians seemed hardly to have time for. 

The other children, and sometimes even the staff, bullied her twin sister because of her disabilities. Michaela was shy and rarely stook up for herself so Ayala would take a stand and punish anyone who messed with her or her sister. That ended up making them both looked at as 'strange' and overtime people came to just ignore them. Ayala resented this but promised to never abandon her sister like they had both been at birth.

The Bolinger's Curse:
Centuries ago a muggle ancestor of Ayala named Lucille Marate was forced into marriage. Her husband was the last of a line of Purebloods and their children was the last hope. The Pureblood attempted to hide their aura (since muggle and wizard auras are different) but Lucille sensed what was going on. Her family is a cult of muggles who know of the wizarding world and are against wizard kind, knowing that they could take over and corrupt the world, but they hate in very horrible ways.

Lucille poisoned her husband and his father, in his dying words, cursed her descendants in which a children of each generation would be fixed with numerous ailments. This would follow to other family members when they married any of her descendants. Some examples of the ailments would be mental illnesses like schizophrenia and ASD, and physical disorders like deafness or cancer.

Ayala's twin sister, Michaela, was a victim of this curse. She was blind and suffered from ADHD, eczema, schizophrenia, and etc.

Bonus Information for the Curious:
Ayala's twin was murdered by a distant relative, whose wife suffered from the curse and passed away. Since Ayala and Michaela were in direct lineage, the man thought that by killing them, supposing that they were the last in the family, be could break the curse. He was sent to Azkaban for illegal reasons besides the murder of a fellow wizard.
