HISTORY.

Long ago, the Kingstons were a big and old wizarding family, residing all across England, known for their centuries-old pureblood legacy, riches, and rumors of involvement with the long disbanded terrorist group known as the Death Eaters, with no shreds of evidence to support said allegations. But, now, there are only two Kingstons left: Virgil and his only child, Roman.

In Clarendon St., Nottingham, there's a mansion close to the Nottingham General Cemetery, and that's where the Kingston's live. The place is old, resembling a dark victorian style, clearly made during the Gothic Revival era, with its complicated and asymmetrical shapes, longs windows and towers, an imposing architecture, especially during the night, when the walls seem to disappear, mixed with the dark sky. Always quiet, that house could easily pass off as empty or, even worse, haunted.

Roman grew up in that isolated mansion, restricted of contact with other wizards and witches his age, able to communicate only with his house-elves and rather busy father. Living the life of a celebrity, his mother never cared much for him, too busy with cameras and releasing songs, that the boy would listen every single day in order to keep her close to his heart.

His first magical incident occurred when he was around five, and threw a tantrum, breaking all the lamps in his house, or that’s what his father said since Roman can't remember it. So, obviously, the boy wasn’t surprised when he saw a brown owl drop the Hogwarts letter in the Kingstons' doorstep once Roman turned eleven.

PERSONALITY.

Due to the isolation for most of his life, Roman became very blunt and honest, sometimes coming off as mean. The house-elves back home never cared about the way he treated them, and his father would tune off to whatever he said, so he learned to always say what he means, in order to keep others interested in what he has to say.

In his opinion, people nowadays can be very sensitive and get hurt over little things he says, to which he only apologizes if he has to. Though he’ll never admit it, he has a bit of an ego, and a big dislike for the muggle world, due to his father’s influence. Opinionated, sarcastic and somewhat apathetic, Roman Kingston isn’t respectful in the slightest, talks a lot and only cares about what you have to say if you agree with him. If not, he’s leaving.

LOOKS.

Thankfully, he has a face that matches his personality perfectly.

Tall, pale, with dark straight hair and even darker eyes, Roman’s face is long and serious; expression is almost always bored or apathetic, with a dead look in his eyes. Roman's a small scar on the right side of his face, on his cheekbone. His nose is medium and dainty, while his mouth is thin and pink.

Gifted with his mother’s Asian traits, Roman, when he’s smiling (which is rare), can be very beautiful. It’s a shame he looks bored all the time. He expresses himself with a simple eyebrow raise or a sneer.

• In love with music. Can play the electric guitar really well, learned by intuition alone. Composes and writes songs, too. His most secret wish is to a part of a band.
• Needs glasses, but never wears them, saying they make his eyes look enormous.
• Really likes animals, and is still trying to convince his father to get him a dog.
• He's a big fan of sports, and even got the chance to attend 2018's Quidditch World Cup. Ballycastle Bats, Chuddley Cannons and Fitchburg Finches are his favorite teams, respectively.
• Collects player cards and other collectibles. His Quidditch collection is almost done.
• Lucky number is 13 (he's quite superstitious).
• Has a small scar in his cheekbone, on the right side of his face. He doesn't even remember how he got it, and he tries to hide it the best he can.
• Will never admit, but, whenever he feels lonely, he plays his mother's songs to make him feel a little bitter.
• Knows how to cook. Spending a lot of time with house-elves taught him a lot of tricks in the kitchen.
• Doesn't like books; only reads if he absolutely needs to. But, adores poetry.

• Loves sweets, pastries and such to death. You'll always find him eating something obscenely sweet.
• Is allergic to some flowers, such as daisies. And cucumbers.
• Is a perfectionist and can come off as paranoid depending on the subject matter. He works very hard on his homework, and cannot take criticism well. He'll probably pass out and get frustrated if he ever gets an A or an E in a homework.
• Has traveled to America once to see a Quidditch match. Wants to travel around the world, the first place he'd like to go it South Korea, to meet his mother's living family.
• Never cries, unless under immense stress.
• Swears a lot.
• Though it can be very hard to make him promise to do something since he's very honest and only agrees to do what he knows he's gonna do, Roman never breaks a promise.
• Can be protective if the person's close to him, but not necessarily caring. Can come off as harsh and extra mean, but that's one of his weird ways of showing he cares.

Style.

Living in such a cold place, the boy's wardrobe is composed mostly by darker tones and warm, long trenchcoats. Somewhere in that sea of black and grey, you can find a bit of color, just as dark green, blue and yellow. He wears sweaters or t-shirts with the faces of some of his favorite wizard singers, and dark pants. Roman uses clothes that makes him taller than he already is, and that match perfectly with his cold aura.
