Slam Dunk!
As approved dNPC 'Cyrus Darsel'
@Ruby Cazares You're awesome, here's our thread x)
Cyrus hadn't ever seen a lake so big. He wanted to roll around in it, to swim in it, to jump in it. He knew that was against the rules. So what? To the blonde-haired, muggle-born boy, rules were meant to be broken.
Cyrus began taking off his lovely duck-print shirt. It was silk, but he didn't want to get it dirty. He unbuttoned each button with care, humming a song to himself. The lyrics ran through his head as he began taking off his leather Gucci belt. He didn't want to get the $250,000 worth of nice belt ruined! Cy also knew that he needed to take off his Escada's Couture Swarovski Crystal Jeans and his Gianni Sapienza leather loafers. After taking those off - and his socks - he wore a wonderful looking undershirt and his underwear. Perfect to go swimming in.
Cyrus ran a hand through his touselled blond hair as he began walking towards the lake. The gravel scraped the bottoms of his feet and made him giggle as he walked. Finally, a wave of temperate lakewater rolled over his foot. Ahh. This was what he missed about taking weekend trips to Long Island. The water. Cy grinned and began running straight into the water. The only time he hesitated was when the chilliness of it hit his stomach, which was not used to the cold. He sucked in a quick breath and began running again until he was shoulder-deep in the water.
It smelled amazing. Most people found the smell of fish-infested waters disgusting, but Cyrus loved it. He paddled around idly, every once in a while pretending he couldn't swim and was drowning if he saw someone come by. He wouldn't get in as much trouble if he made up a story, right? A poor, unsuspecting Muggle-born slipped on a rock and toppled into this amazing-smelling lake? Likely story.
Cy's shirt was sticking to his lean frame as he waded back towards the shore. He wasn't going to get out yet, though. He sat down when the water would reach his shoulders if he was seated, and he leaned back, dunking his head and then coming back up. he shook the excess water out of his hair, which now stuck to his scalp. The water was just cool enough to be refreshing. Cyrus loved it. He didn't care if anyone came along to find him; he'd be happy just sitting here.
The wilderness offered the most amazing sounds that no one would ever hear in the city: rusting undergrowth, a random animal's footsteps, the soft fluttering of a bird's wings. The Thunderbird could spot fish swimming not too many yards away, tantalising but out of his reach. For now. Maybe he'd reach into the Lake's depths and grasp at them sometime. But not today.
