“Family and friendships are two of the greatest facilitators of happiness.” –John C. Maxwell

The Basics™

Race: Human
Physical appearance: Standing at about 5’4”, Robbie is surprisingly tall for his age, as both of his parents are taller than average. He has blue eyes, somewhat short brown hair, and a fair complexion. Due to the years he’d spent on the junior rugby team, he’s fairly built for an 11 year old.
Wand: 34.7 cm walnut wood and phoenix feather

Walnut- Walnut wands are often found in the hands of magical innovators and inventors; this is a handsome wood possessed of unusual versatility and adaptability. Walnut wands will, once subjugated, perform any task its owner desires, provided that the user is of sufficient brilliance. This makes for a truly lethal weapon in the hands of a witch or wizard of no conscience, for the wand and the wizard may feed on each other in a particularly unhealthy manner.

Phoenix- This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike.
Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalize, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

History

Robbie is a Muggle-born son of two working class folks from Newcastle. Both of his parents work to support him and his siblings: two older brothers and one younger sister. His older brothers are 16 and 13, named James and Arthur respectively. His younger sister is 9, and her name is Emily. They didn’t live in a particularly affluent fashion, but they were a happy family despite any money problems.

The three brothers were always immensely overprotective over Emily. In addition to being the youngest of the four, and the only girl in the set of siblings, she has Down Syndrome. Despite her neurological challenges, the family always worked hard to support her academically and socially as best as they could. James, Arthur, and Robbie even took it upon themselves to beat up any blokes who looked at her the wrong way. Robbie would frequently get himself into scraps (and often in a lot of trouble along the way) to defend her at an early age.
