A final goodbye
It was August 21st. The air was cold and the rain fell heavily. The stormy weather reflecting the young girl's emotions. This summer had not been the fun summer that was expected, but a sorrow filled few months. The best friend Eri had had since she was two had been diagnosed with cancer back in July. Zair was 6'1", 13 years old black hair, green eyes, and a half blood. He was the closest friend the brunette had ever had. They had planned to be with each other for the rest of their lives, but that plan had forever changed the day he was diagnosed. Eri spent hours in the hospital supporting her friend and never leaving his side, but every day he just kept getting worse until August 20th, the day he took his final breath.
Eri took one last glance at the closed casket saying her final good bye to her friend before the casket was lowered into the ground. Her brother Ethan led her to the car and as they drove away he held her as her grief became to much to bear and her eyes over flowed with tears. With Ethan on one side of his sister, Jackson on the other they rode in silence, except for the muffled sobs, to the air port where they would fly from Ukraine back to England.
