A choice made by the wand
After a long waiting, Angel was finally facing the owner of Ollivander.

-Hello sir.
-Oh hello! And welcome to Ollivander!
- I would like a wand.
-Not so fast miss ...
-Bowers, my name is Angel Bowers.
-Bowers hum, could you tell me the names of your parents, please?
-what? uh Kurt and Luna, why sir?
-Kurt and Luna hum ... No I never had them as a customer!
- Seing the number of customers you have I doubt you remember anyway sir.
-Well, let me tell you otherwise ! Here at Ollivander we remember all the wands that we sold and to whom we sold them ! I hope you will be the first Bowers of your family over a hundred generation and even more!
-Sir, I just hope to have a good wand.
-Well well it is the wand that choose his wizard and not the other way around!
-I was already told sir, but I would still like a good wand ...
-I understand you perfectly Miss Bowers! Let's try some wand.
He got on his ladder to take a few boxes in the back of the room.
-Let's try this wand ... 27,5cm, made of vine wood and kelpy hair.
Angel took the wand and moved it, then the objects in the room began to swing in all directions.
-Surely not ! now try that one, one of 24cm, in white oak wood and phoenix feather
This time the doors slammed loudly.
-Let's see ... try this one, 30cm, made of alder wood and dragon ventricle.
Angel grabs the wand and waved it, absolutely nothing happens.
-This obviously does not want you ... Let's try this one, 31,2cm walnut wood and dragon heartstrings is not it? It's stiff and particularly effective for transfiguration but a bit less for charms.

Angel took the wand and when she waved it the things in the store went in a better order than they were and the dust from the store went to the corners.
-It seems that this wand has chosen you Miss Bowers, it will cost you 2 gallons please.
-Sir is it powerful?
-There are many more powerful Miss Bowers.
-Oh ok...
-I feel disappointment, you wanted a more powerful wand I'm wrong?
-Well, who would not want a powerful wand? I do not understand why it chosen me ... I do not want her.
Olivander seemed to take pity on Angel, since he looked at her with pity.
-Miss Bowers, know that the wand knows what it's doing, it's now up to you to find out why you were it's choice.
A silence followed, Angel wanted to try other wand in the hope of finding a better one but she did not really have time. She had a sad face.
-You know Miss Bowers the wand is not everything, a lot of wizard becomes powerful without having a powerful wand, in Africa a lot of wizard do not even have a wand! So do not worry that much, one thing is even more important than the wand it is your ability to use it.
-I see Mr. Ollivander ... thanks for the wand.
Angel handed him 2 galleons, took her wand and walked off without being really convinced, while Olivander was seeing her leave, he was a little sad for not having been able to convince her and console her completely.
