Backstory:
The son of Adam and Elizabeth Ashton, Leo, is the only child of this middle aged couple. His parents tried multiple times to have more children but were only lucky enough to have Leo. Leo and his parents live in a small flat on George Street, next to the bakery his father owns. While Adam owns and works in their bakery, his wife, Elizabeth, is an author of many books that can be found in any magical library. She often writes about how her life has changed from being a witch to now living a simple life with her family. The Ashton family have never been a wealthy family but have always a very happy and somewhat comfortable life.
At a young age, Leo was told about his magical abilities and how one day he may even earn a place at Hogwarts, the same school his mother attended when she was his age. Despite having this knowledge. Leo hadn’t realised to what extent his abilities reached. While sitting in the front garden one Spring afternoon, Leo was reading a book as other children played in the streets. As his eyes followed the words on the page, Leo didn’t realise the flowers and other beautiful plants that grew around him. It wasn’t until a little girl walking by mentioned to her mother the pretty flowers where the boy was sitting. Hearing this made Leo look up from his book, his eyes widening as he looked around him to see the flowers. Immediately he ran inside to tell his mother the news. She told him they were his abilities and that he should be expecting to hear from Hogwarts soon.
Not long after, Leo received his Hogwarts acceptance letter.
