Quidditch and Arguing PV Dan & Remy Closed

Carson, Remy, and Dan strolled down the hallway, laughing and arguing about Quidditch. The three had become close over their two years at Hogwarts, and were now a small group of friends.

“You can’t begin to tell me that the Pride of Portree deserves that win, mate!” Carson asked incredulously, referring to the match last month, where The Pride of Portree had played the Falmouth Falcons. Carson, who didn’t have a strong opinion on either teams, still felt strongly about how the game had gone.

“Moss literally carried the team. It was like they were playing a bunch of teddy bears!” Carson’s hands flew wildly about as he spoke, his enthusiasm getting the better of him in this moment.

He’d always been a fan of Quidditch, ever since he found out it existed. He’d never met his father— maybe he was a Quidditch player or something, and that’s why Carson adored the sport so much. Either way, he’d immediately signed up for the Hufflepuff team once he’d found out they were taking applications, too, and keeping up with the current matches was one of his favorite hobbies. You could say he was a bit obsessed, but he just liked to call it passionate.

Dan walked down the hall with is friends, Carson and Remy. He was wearing his casual clothes, as they had this day off, and as usual, was barefoot.
Due in no small amount to the surprisingly large amount of Maggie Parties, Dan had gotten to know Carson, and then Miller, and they were all now pretty good friends.

Carson was making his views on a Quidditch match quite clear. One that happened a month ago.
Dan HAD seen that match; he was studying the other games, teams, and various strategies in order to be a better captain. Slytherin had one the first match, the one welcoming back Quidditch at Hogwarts after being banned for so long, against Ravenclaw, but Dan was not about to be content with leaving it at that. Though, neither of the teams were the Irish team, so Dan didn't really give a flying shite about either of them. Ireland REPRESENT.
And while he usually enjoyed a debate, Carson had a good point. The Prides played like dog shit, and did not in the least deserve a win.

I know right? But you gotta ask, which is worse? Being on a team that doesnt know what they're doing, and being carried by one guy, or losing to a team who doesn't know what they're doing, and being carried by one guy?"

ooc: I was waiting on Remy buttt I’m getting impatient lmao @Remy Alto & @Dan Palmer
“Honestly, probably losing to a bullocks team would be worse. I mean, if I was Choi, I’d be livid.” Carson answered, glad he had someone to talk about Quidditch with. He glanced at Remy, who hadn’t said anything during for awhile. Remembering how he wasn’t really the biggest fan of Quidditch, Carson tried to steer the conversation towards something all of them liked. Or could relate to, at least.

“Did you guys read the Headliner?” he asked, rembering the issue that had recently come out. “I had no idea Professor Browne and Professor B had a thing.” he spoke, making a grimace at the mention of his two teachers. It was gross, thinking of any of his teachers having a romantic life. Just— ew.

“By the way, Dan, there’s this club Remy, Maggie, and I are a part of— you should join. It’s like a pranking thing or whatever, I’ll ask Maggie to owl you about it.” Carson mentioned the club he’d recently been recruited into, the one Maggie happened to be co-captaining. The club had been slightly, well, irrelevant, before, and Maggie was planning on “fixing it up” or whatever. Carson was partly just there because of the meetings, which were supposedly going to have great food, but he enjoyed the concept as well.

Lately, Remy had been tagging along with Carson and Dan for a lot of their adventures. They were a happy nice bunch, so he often had a very fun time with them. However, now, Remy wasn't really having the time of his life. See, as much as he would have liked to, just the idea of a broom, let alone sit on one, was fear-inducing for him. All of those flying classes had been pure disastrous horror. Remy just couldn't deal with heights. Every time someone accused him of being a coward (and rightfully so), he would give them a some sort of apologetic shrug, an awkward smile and a 'Hey, I ain't a Gryffindor for a reason pal.'

And so, as the rest of the boys all two of them were busy talking about Quidditch, he was floating in a world of his own. Yes, he was somewhat familiar with the names of the teams and all, but the very concept of enjoying the whole 'racing-faster-than-the-wind-on-a-stick-while-trying-not-to-die' was foreign and bizarre to him. Who in their right mind would risk their lives like that? Remy had done a lot of outright stupid things in his life, but at least he had been reasonable enough not to walk into the lion's den like that. It was like he was testing his fate!

Granted, he was still a little bit jealous of the other two who looked to be very comfortable with this topic. No, he did not feel left out, but still a bit squeamish. He would have loved to be as fearless as they were in the sense of Quidditch. The farthest that Remy could go was support his own housemates from the dark.

"It's very hard for me to imagine them having lives outside of school," Remy pointed out bluntly. Professors barely existed to him after classes. It was just...plain weird to think that they could have all these relationships! Gross, adults and their shenanigans.

"I'm sure you'd enjoy the club Dan," Remy smiled in his own, cheeky mischievous way, trying to lure in the boy into the dark side.
