She liked the Leaky Cauldron because of how easily she could blend in there. The noise and business of the place shielded her from other's eyes. She liked having a break from school, but it would be more fun if her sister was here. She was her only close friend. She hoped to make some new ones soon, but she was too scared to make the first move. Dodging waiters and groups of friends I made my way over to the bar, where there were two empty seats. Ordering a huge butterbeer with some of the little money she had left, she realized just how desperately she needed more."How do you get more of this stuff?" She mumbled under her breath. 

She reaching into her bag and pulled out Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Care of magical creatures was the class she was most excited for, as she had always been amazed by dragons and unicorns as a young girl. Everything in this world was so different, so... strange.  And she still hadn't made a single friend to experience it with. But at least she still had butterbeer. She was taking a considerably large sip of her butterbeer when she felt someone tap her shoulder. 

"Hello there, I'm Cameron." He smiled at her and offered his hand after she shook it he sat down beside her. "Excited for your first year. So am I. I managed to finish my homework, I am anxiously waiting for the next assignment. It can be found on your Report Card when you click on your icon in the upper right hand corner. The assignments will show a ! and you click on it and then do the assignments." Cameron ordered a Butterbeer as he looked around the pub. "Rather crowded isn't it. So far my favorite class is History of Magic. The one class I seem to be having a struggle in is Potions." Shrugging as he glanced at her books and smiled. "Fantastic Beasts! I finished reading that in a matter of hours. My favorite magical creatures are the fire crabs. They are excellent magical creatures and I am hoping to learn more once I leave Hogwarts." The noise started to get a bit louder in the pub as more witches, wizards, and hags started to fill in during the lunch hour. "Say, you don't suppose' this place would get any louder. Wonder where there is a quiet place to chat." 

He sure did talk a lot. Not that really bothered her much, she was more of a listener anyway. "Yeah, I suppose it is pretty loud in here. M-my name's Edith by the way. And for a quiet place," thinking back to her time shopping at Diagon Alley, she remembered passing by an ice cream shop. "I remember seeing an ice cream place at Diagon Alley, I don't recall its name though. And um... I really like Hippogriffs." Her cheeks began to turn pink. She knew she was pretty awkward around strangers, but that was horrendous. To hide her blush she took another sip of her butterbeer as she nervously waited for his response. 

"I learned lots 'bout Hippogriffs. Especially what they prefer to eat in regards to their diet." Cameron smiled at her and remembered the name of the ice cream shop in Diagon Alley. "The ice cream shop is Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour. There is this one ice cream that is blue and has colored balls on it, rather pearl like. It looks like bubble gum but it isn't, it tastes like Strawberry. I never thought such a dessert would deceive the eye. Do you have a favorite ice cream?" Noticing his drink arriving he took a sip of his pumpkin juice slowly. Savoring the flavor, he couldn't look away from the girl for she was rather pretty. Never having the feeling of butterflies in his stomach before he felt one coming on every time she smiled. Hearing that she liked ice cream Cameron thought about many other flavors the ice cream parlor served daily. Hoping one day to try all of them in the future Cameron wanted to come up with an ice cream shop of his own. His thoughts roamed about at the ideas of ice cream flavors he would create. Not going to be as popular as Florean's he wondered about other ice cream shops that existed in the muggle world and all of the flavors they possessed.
