Bright, very bright colours. That was the first thing Charlotte had noticed as she found this odd piece of paper lying on her desk, awaiting patiently for her to see. It had, naturally grabbed her attention and she felt rather impatient to discover what this was all about, and she wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Her cousin, Maggie, a fan and party-lover had once more, invited Charlotte to one of those amazing parties. Her eyes glimmering with excitement, she read the paper as fast as her eyes permitted her as a smile spread across her lips, her eyes wide open.
'Bring a date'
Charlotte smiled playfully, already knowing exactly who would be that special person, was it truly a secret anymore? She folded it neatly, making sure she wasn't ruining this masterpiece her cousin had concocted, and Charlotte wondered how she was able to make it so perfectly suiting for the occasion. Putting it in between her books, nicely pressed, she closed her bag as fast as she could and ran out of the class, impatient to pick out an outfit and perhaps start thinking about the snack she would bring. Cookies? She had done that too many times, but how could anyone say no to cookies? Crepes? Easy to make, but would it be easy to eat? After a long discussion with herself, she decided that brownies were the best thing she could make fast and would always be tasty. With all the stress of the new school year starting again, a party would surely make it more enjoyable for her...
