In a Primary School

'And stay in there. Y-You monster!' ''Yeh! You won't get our blood, you disgusting bloodsucking banshee!''

And with that they slammed the door of the schoolshed closed. Pressed in a corner sat a scared small girl. Curled up, her face looking at the wooden walls. The shed was small but the ceiling was way up.

Earlier that day she had tripped and fallen pretty bad. Her knees hurt and even some drops of blood slid down her legs. She started to cry. Her classmates were worried at first. Some of the girls ran over and carefully tried to help her up.

'Oh Nico, it's okey. I-I fell before and it wasn't so b-' The little dhampir got up and wanted to thank her but the girl immediately stepped away. Confused Nico called out her name and motioned to come back, but the girl refused strongly. 'N-Nico why are your eyes...'

Puzzled the redhead ran her hands over her cheeks. Looking at the palms there was... blood.

As soon as they saw that Nico was just as afraid, the girls screamed and ran off. 'She has bloody eyes! I want to see my mommy! I want to go home!'

'I-..I..' Nico stammered. She was now standing by herself on the playground, trails of blood running down her porcelain white cheeks. The blue hues in her eyes shifted from red to blue over and over. What could she do ...

'Hey what the hell is wrong with you!' ''Yeh, you think you can just scare the girls like that?'' As the dhampir was busy rubbing her cheeks with her sleeves and tried to figure out where to go; some boys walked up to her.

'HEY!! Don't ignore us!' There was the first shove. 'W-What? D-Don't push me like that..'

Nico stayed up and set a few steps back. These boys were not giving her a chance to recollect her thoughts. She was helplessly confused. Her mother and father hadn't told her about this. She had to find a teacher to ask her to call her mom. 'I-I'm going over the-' PUSH.

'You're not going anywhere, freak. You scared Emily and she happens to be my girlfriend.' Nico got cornered. She had to run. These kids were angry at her.. Why... She just cried... blood..

'STOP IT!' Nico cried out loud and ran off behind the schoolbuilding next to the playground.

'She's getting away!' ''Get her!'' The group of three boys started to chase her down. Her knees still hurt, she couldn't outrun them and they caught up to her quickly. The once perfect girl that they didn't dare to approach looked like a monster. An infiltrant. A hunter out to feed on harmless innocent girls. She had to pay.

The wavy long hair were within their reach. With a rough yank, they pulled her hair, making her nearly trip over her feet. 'Aah! Stop it!'

Closeby there was the schoolshed, filled with tools they used for their gardening hours. 'Seems fit for a monster like you... You're just a bloodsucking tool! You're not a person. Freak!' They ganged up on her and threw her inside it.

And there she was now... Shivering, alone. The boys had left for a while. She had no clue what time it was. Afraid to move or to make a sound, she sobbed as if she were a mute.

After a lil while, a teacher found her and carefully approached her. Gently guiding her to the main schoolbuilding.

'It's okey, Nico. I called your parents... We'll talk about this in the principals office.'
