Can I peep just a bit?
Swan normally was not the type of person who would peep into a trophy room, but this time, she wanted to. It was not that close to curfew time, but Swan just wanted to peep, just for a little while. It was interesting to know what house won the cup the past few months. Swan, however, was more interested in what students received what honors. Being in Ravenclaw, she was normally expected to be smart, which she already was, but it smarts weren't her only goal in life once she graduated, which would take a very long time, from Hogwarts.
Opening the door, careful not to smudge anything, Swan gazed at the hundreds of trophies that lay in the room itself. I should be really quick, because it's already 9. An urge told her to stay longer, but Swan ignored it, not wanting to get caught and get into trouble, not to mention, even a detention. House Cups were plentiful. That was, of course, obvious. Thanks, Captain Obvious.
She checked her watch. Only five minutes had passed since she arrived. I should be quick. The West Tower is kind of far from here. There were plaques about the Quidditch tournaments that happened way back before she was even born.
Swan checked her watch again. It's already 9:15? It wasn't late, but Swan didn't want to stay any longer, in fear she could get caught. Carefully closing the door, she rushed back to her room.
Once she was there, she made a promise. That promise was to try to get her name into the Trophy Room.
