History/Background Story: She was raised in a family consisting of two wizards and a witch. Reagan was always self-conscious about the powers she might possess, even though only half of her family was really supporting her.
Her father Ryad Callaghan is a wizard "scientist", obsessed with finding the ways of storing magic in objects. Her mother Leah Morgan, on the other hand, is a simple primary school teacher who gave up on magic when her husband almost destroyed their house and himself during an experiment.
Her brother Jeremiah Callaghan was also a Hogwarts student, now working as a professional quidditch coach. For centuries, the Callaghan family was a pure Ravenclaw: all of the family members were sorted into that particular house and all of them were great minds.
Reagans left eyesight is permanently damaged because she got too close to one of his fathers creations and it left her partially blind. She found it really hard to deal with this disability when she was smaller but she managed to get used to it and didn't give up her dream of becoming a professional quidditch player.

Reagan first noticed her powers when she accidentally lit an antique curtain on fire during summer vacation. Since then, her father taught her small and discrete ways of controlling her power, without drawing attention.

When she got into Hogwarts she quickly broke the family tradition by being sorted into Slytherin instead of Ravenclaw. Reagan decided not to let her family's disappointment and anger get to her and continued her path with Slytherin.
