A New Friendship?
PV @Angellica Rowley
At the moment Lily Gray was off going on a little adventure on her own so Jay needed to find something to do for the day, and that was- take a walk around the neighborhood near the Victoria Manor. Hopefully, they could somehow bump into other wizard teens and become friends with them, maybe even bump into someone else that goes to Hogwarts... Just then Jay found a little park with very few people, two little children, an adult watching the children, and other person who looked just about their age. It was hard to tell if that person was a muggle or not.
Jay sat and stared off into the distance in silence. It then took a few minutes for them to realize a black cat was actually sitting next to them, the loud purring of the cat cut into their thoughts. Jay smiled as they pet the cats soft head.
“You sound like a motorboat... or a motorcycle,” Jay said as if the black cat would understand. Jay noticed that it had a collar but no tag... whose was it? It could be the persons cat over there...?
”Hey you, is this y-your cat?”

A New Friendship?
Parks were a favoured place for Angellica to unwind and allow her mind a well deserved rest. Between an eventful year at Hogwarts, the summer camp that followed, and now back to what had been normal. A flat downtown London, the hustle and bustle of life. Following her parents to any which place they were summoned to for some function or another, being the diligent daughter. She'd played her part, and now she was enjoying a stroll while they mingled.
Perhaps a bit overdressed for the park, she was glad she had stood her ground on wearing running shoes, despite her mother's protests. Truthfully, Angellica had learned to be a little more playful in school, and a bit more independent - to her parents discontent.
A black cat caught her attention, and with it another person about her age petting it. Though she hadn't meant to stare at them, she couldn't help but think of wise words she had been told at Summer Camp. Her parents weren't here to see her, and was it really so wrong to leave a cat without a scratch on its tiny purring head?
"Oh, no it isn't," she responded looking from the black feline to the other. "I was wondering if it was yours, it definitely seems to like you," she said instead. It seemed rude to just pet the cat, even if it wasn't the others.
After a few moments, and a few tentative steps forward she asked the one question that burned in her mind. One she never thought she'd speak out loud. "Do you think...would you mind...if I..." How did one formulate can I pet the cat that isn't either of ours?
"Can I pet it too?" she finally blurted out. Honestly, she wanted a cat about as much as she wanted a broom, and both would require what felt like years of saving up.
