History/Background Story:
Carmillia Fae Snippet was born to Millifox and James Snippet on March 18, 2008. Millifox Irmina Snippet was a pureblood witch, and James Snippet was a muggle. Unfortunately, Millifox perished in childbirth, and Carmillia Snippet never knew her mother. James Snippet was very distraught by Millifox's death, and went into a small grieving period. He was still able to adequately care for Carmillia, but he separated himself completely from the magical world. Prior to Millifox's death, the couple had lived in a magical home, to avoid complications with the muggle world. Millifox worked for the Ministry, and James Snippet owned a raptor rehabilitation center, and gave presentations to Muggle children. After Millifox passed away, James sold the magical house and moved into a small Muggle home in Ely, England. Carmillia grew up there, and James tried to forget everything he knew about magic. Because of this, he cannot give a whole lot of information to Carmillia when she is revealed to be a witch.
Carmillia grew up ignorant to the magical world, taking care of birds of prey with her father, and exploring the woods next the the Snippet home. She loves to read, and is curious about everything, especially biology and zoology. She was homeschooled by her father, and is very antisocial, shy, and awkward due to lack of human interaction. She has a close bond with her father, which was strengthened by many hikes together and James educating her on the outdoor world around her. Her first experience with magic occurred when she was about nine years old. She had run ahead of her father while hiking, and was sitting on a tree branch about forty feet in the air. From an above branch, a baby bird fell from a nest. Carmillia instinctively leaped to catch it, falling out of the tree branch. After she hit the ground, she realized that both she and the bird were not injured. She hadn't even felt any pain from the fall. Carmillia returned the bird to the nest and rejoined her father, who had not witnessed the event. Carmillia said nothing, but always remembered the strange experience.
Upon receiving her letter from Hogwarts, Carmillia was shocked. James explained what little he could remember, and allowed Carmillia to attend Hogwarts. They bought school supplies in Diagon Alley using the money earned from selling the house. From there, Carmillia spent the rest of the summer with her father, leaving for Hogwarts on August 22, 2019. From there, Carmillia was sorted into Ravenclaw. She plans to have a studious school year, without adventure. She may make friends, but is not planning on it.

Carmillia (Milly) has wavy orange hair, usually kept in a single braid. Her nose is sprinkled with freckles that compliment her piercing green eyes. She is skinny and of average height. She loves to learn and is very intelligent. However, she is very timid and weak. She is very lacking in communication skills. She takes teasing to heart and many jokes go over her head. Carmillia can be gullible and naive, and easily manipulated if you can gain her trust. Carmillia is also very prideful in her intelligence, and has difficulty taking criticism. She does not brag, but hates being corrected. Carmillia loves the outdoors and often goes on hikes with her father. She is not very fast, but is quiet, agile, and an excellent tree climber. She is very observant, and is knowledgeable on many subjects. She is very empathetic and compassionate, even if you have wronged her. She has a way with animals, and has helped rehabilitate many raptors with her father. She dreams of being a naturalist, but her Hogwarts journey may lead her down another path.
Carmillia is an independent girl, not keen on building relationships, although not against it either. She is very shy, and usually studies outdoors to avoid conversation. She loves to read and go for walks outside. She is extremely alert and observant, constantly thinking and identifying different things.
