Some Time Alone
Severus entered the library. It was one of the places he spent the most at. He loved the library, mainly because of how quiet and peaceful it was. He looked around the bookshelves for a nice book to read. He found a book about muggle history.
It was still weird for Severus to use the term muggle. All his life he had never known anything about wizardry. Muggles used to just be normal people. It was first when he got accepted into Hogwarts that his parents told him that about wizardry, so he wasn’t used to the term muggle.
Severus tried to read but couldn’t concentrate on it. He instead decided to look around. There was no one other than him in the library. Although the library was always quiet it wasn’t very often it was completely empty. The bookshelves looked like they always had. Thousands of books on thousands of shelves about any subject you could think of. Even though there were thousands of books it looked like almost all of them had been read by many people. Some of the oldest books looked hundreds of years old.
Severus decided to leave the library. He hadn’t been there for long but as he couldn’t concentrate on reading there was no point to staying there any longer. He quickly put the book back to where he found it and left.
