Errand Wands away and buckets in hand Solo Fin

The sun shone through the thin curtains and right onto Charlotte's closed eyes, causing her to rub them and shift about. It only took her a few seconds to realise no matter how she twisted and turned, there was absolutely no way of dodging the bright, warm sun rays. Eventually, she stood up and stretched her arms wide, bumping the wood of the bunk bed. She slipped her feet in her slippers, put on her white silky robe and walked out of the room not wanting to wake up any of her cabin-mates, still sound asleep and far from the beams of sun.

The corridor was rather silent, except for the occasional loud snoring or breeze of wind hitting the windows. The monotone sound of her slippers on the wooden floor lulled her a little, still in a not-so-awake state. She pushed the heavy doors and found herself hit, once again, by the golden sun rays. A hand over her eyes, she made her way to the tables set outside where she grabbed a few viennoiseries, a cup of tea before sitting down at the table nearest the lake. As she sipped her tea, she couldn't help nut notice how breathtakingly beautiful the scenery right before her eyes was. The glass-like surface of the lake glimmered in thousands of golden flakes, reflecting the imposing Castle and the trees around. The sky was of a beautiful rose colour, fading into a deep orange, a few shy clouds venturing farther than the mountains. The chirping of the birds only made this even more paradisiacal, and the fresh gush of wind brushing across her face woke her up fully.

She finished her breakfast rapidly, knowing a busy day was ahead of her. It was her turn to clean the cabins, and she had no intention of doing late in the afternoon. She dropped of her plate and cup with the other ones and headed back to her cabins where the girls had barely woken up. After a brief conversation, they all exited the room, eager to eat breakfast and Charlotte followed closely after them, heading for the cupboard. The door open with a loud creaking sound, revealing a cleaner's dream.
A few buckets, sponges, mops and dusters. She grabbed on of each and return to her cabin where she filled the bucket up with soapy water.

She brought all her material in the middle of the room, quickly got dressed into some comfortable clothes and attached her hair in a low ponytail. This wasn't going to fun, but Charlotte quite enjoyed deep cleaning once in a while. Firstly she lifted up the rug and set it on one of the beds, putting all the trunks on each of the respective beds, giving her a clear view of the surface she was supposed to clean. She plunged the mop in the bubbly water before putting it back on the floor with a loud splash. The wooden floor was soon very shiny as Charlotte went back and forth, fairly certain she wasn't missing any single spot. She soon found herself out of the cabin, the sun reflecting on the wet surface blinding her as she quickly turned around. As she waited for the floor to dry, she started mopping the corridor around the cabin door and just as she finished, the last wet floor turned dry right before her eyes.

Alright, now that that was done, she though she would keep her full bucket and clean the window and the bathroom. The windows didn't seem all that dirty but she still wanted them perfectly clean and stainless. She opened them up and dipped her sponge in the water and began scrubbing, the friction making a squeaking sound every time she went downwards. Once the first one was all done, she realised that they were pretty dirty after all and didn't understand how it hadn't bothered her more. The second one was rapidly finished and both of them being so clean, it almost seemed like the glass had vanished.

She headed to the bathroom, holding the heavy bucket with both her hands, hoping she wasn't dropping any water on the way. Tying her ponytail tighter, decluttered around the sink before cleaning the mirror and scrubbing it clean, before moving on to the toilets. In about twenty minutes, the bathroom was sparkling, the mirror so spotless it once again, looked like it was simply the continuity of the room.
She grabbed the mop and made one last round before closing the door shut behind her.

She grabbed the trunks and slid them delicately back under the beds, revealing some big creases on the white blankets. The pillows needed fluffing and all the beds weren't made, so that's what she did. She flattened out the covers and patted the pillows rather violently to give them a nice shape again before tucking them under the blankets, followed by to or three decorative pillows put on top. The hardest and mostly, the tiring beds to do were the top bunks. Each time she flattened out a crease, she seemed to create a new one by simply moving about, and resulted to stand best she could on the wooden structure of the beds, that creaked dangerously as she pulled the blankets flat. Finally, the pillows were always fun and easy to put.

Satisfied, she glanced at the perfectly clean room her hands on her hips. But, as she turned to face the dresser, she realised she hadn't dusted it yet and rapidly turned on her heels to grab the duster. Impatient to finish up, she rapidly lifted each item, removing the fine layer of gray dust that had gathered around them, leaving in the exact shape of said object. Once that was done, she hurried to the cupboard and stuffed all the equipment back, sure some students were eager to clean their room too.

Standing in the threshold of the door, she looked at her work as she nodded, rather impressed with herself before glancing at her watch. It had been exactly two hours and twenty-seven minutes, and she heard the girls come back in, talking and laughing. Charlotte took a deep breath as she brushed a strand of hair out of her face.
