Airlia was following the girl running down the halls. Her hair, a dark chocolate brown flowed behind her.

Airlia needed to catch her. She'd left her school books behind after class and Airlia wanted to return them.

Wherever the Slytherin girl was going, she really seemed to be in a rush. "Miss Magnard!" Airlia yelled and tried to keep up but it was as if her short legs just couldn't manage to run fast enough. "Wait up!"

When Airlia saw the girl disappear into the trophy room she gave out a sigh. There was only one way in and out of the trophy room so there was no chance that Airlia wouldn't catch up with the sly girl now. She slowed her run down to a walk and stopped by the door when she heard a huge crash and a green glow shone through from the crack of the door.

Worried over her classmate Airlia pressed her fingers against the door and pushed it open: "Illowy? Are you okay?"

The trophy room was a huge mess. The shelves had given out, some even split in two. Trophies had fallen all over the floor. And some of them were dented. The Slytherin would get in trouble over this if someone found out. Glass had shattered on the floor and the girl... Was nowhere to be found.

"Illowy? Sorry to bother you, it's just that you forgot your books and I wanted to return them..." Airlia looked around. All that she could spot was a black furry mess in the corner.

Something was very wrong. Very very wrong. What a time for mis-made potion to bite back. Illowy could feel it in the pit of her stomach and the moment class was dismissed, she didn't hesitate to rush out of the room, barely realizing she'd left her book behind. Her mind was on one thing; finding a place to hide.

Somewhere behind her she could hear her name being call, but the brunette actively chose to ignore the girl. Pale eyes caught sight of the trophy room and Illowy quickly ducked inside, praying she'd lose her classmate. Her heart was racing. The girl lifted a hand to her chest, but a plume of dark hair caught her attention. It was directly growing from the back of her own hand! The girl panicked, knocking back into one of the glass cases. Her panic hadn't stopped though trying to fight every moment of the transformation, leaving the trophy room in utter disaster as she did so.

By the end of it, the girl was hardly that anymore. Crouched in a ball of long, dark fur, the girl sat, frantically looking around herself. The only thing that took her attention was when the door opened and in stepped Airlia, her classmate.

The black cat started the girl through wide, bright blue eyes. Had she seen anything? Did she know what had happened? Illowy opened her mouth to speak, but all that came out was a nervous "Mew"

For the love of all things decent, the girl thought to herself.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Airlia looked at the black ball of fur closer, it was moving. There was no way Illowy could have gotten out of the room without Airlia noticing so... "Illowy?" Airlia mumbled, taking a step towards the creature that turned out to be a black cat.

At the little meow, Airlia lifted her hand onto her mouth. She couldn't believe her eyes but there it was. The little cat was unmistakenly Illowy Magnard.

It was the eyes that told the true tale of her identity and frankly. This wasn't the craziest thing Airlia had seen at this school. Even though it was her first-year Airlia had witnessed the weirdest things.

"Oh my... What happened to you?" At this point any other student in this school would have a million explanations in their head like being an animagus, human transfiguration, potions and dark spells. However, Airlia, as a slightly less advanced student had no idea of what even could have happened to the girl.

Airlia crouched down, getting on her knees on the floor. "I guess you won't need your potions book for a while, being a cat you can't really turn pages. Wonder how long this lasts..."

Airlia watched the cat and tried to come up with a plan to figure out what was going on. She, however, knew that this was too much for her to handle. She would need to ask for help from an adult.

Airlia reached over and tried to pick up the cat: "Let's get you to the headmaster."

At least she's not stupid, the cat girl thought to herself as Airlia knelt down, closer to her level as Illowy slowly emerged from her hiding spot. Everything seemed so large around her, looming even, as she looked around herself before sitting before the blonde, wrapping a long, fluffy tail around herself.

She was wracking her brain, trying to think of how to reverse the condition. Everything was coming up blank though. Even if she did think of something, how in the world was she suppose to get the message across?
"Let's get you to the headmaster."
What? Wait! Nonononono, the blonde started to reach for her and the cat scooted back slightly, batting at the Hufflepuff hands. If she went to the Headmaster, she'd be in so much trouble for attempting magic that she wasn't qualified for, much less the fact that she'd done it unsupervised with ingredients she wasn't suppose to have. No. No teachers.

Illowy got herself into this, surely she could figure out how to fix it, though she'd defiantly need some assistance. After all, Airlia hadn't been wrong about not being able to use the books herself... given she now lacked the ability to even pick the book up, much less turn the pages. The animal looked around herself for a moment before finding her bag that had been lost to the side of the room during the fitful transformation. Trotting over to it, the girl pawed at the bag before looking over at the girl. Maybe they be able to find something in one of their textbooks to fix this mess.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Airlia was confused when Illowy wouldn't allow Airlia to pic her up. Didn't she know Airlia was trying to help her?

The fact that Illowy might get in trouble if teachers found out about this mess didn't even cross her mind. While anyone else might think that following the directions of a cat might be stupid, Airlia still saw the Slytherin girl in the cat and trusted that Illowy knew what she was doing; cat or not.

Airlia watched the little cat work things out and paw at the bookbag that had now been abandoned on the floor as the girl who used to hold it was not just a little cat.

Moving next top the bag Airlia sat down on her knees on the dirty floor knowing that this might take a while. Even with glass around the room, Airlia found a spot where only a small chard of glass knicked her knee. "Careful there." Airlia mumbled and before the cat could do anything to stop her, Airlia scooped her up and layed the cat on her lap to get it away from the sharp shards of glass.

Even a cat might have some difficulty of avoiding stepping on them and Airlia really didn't want to go to the hospital wing today. She's been there enough already.

Airlia grabbed the bag and emptied it on the floor by shaking it upside down. She watched quills, ink bottles, books and notes fall out with a few vials. She grabbed one and stared at the contents. One of them had some sort of purple leaves inside, another one black sand, one had white powder and another a red feather. They almost looked like potions ingredients but with her scrawny knowledge of potions, Airlia didn't want to make any conclusions.

They could as well be a part of some sort of presentation homework for herbology.

Airlia layed out the contents of the bag on the floor, making sure nothing was covered by a book or paper. "What do you need?" Airlia asked, hoping that Illowy would figure out some way to show her what to do.
