But Are You Racist Though?

Hugging more than three books in her arms, the girl slowly walked pass some students in the library to the bookshelves. Today had to be her lucky day. There weren't too many students in this hour, which also meant the library would be quieter. She could somewhat guess the reason. They had to think that spending times in the library when it was almost summer break was a bad idea. Luna totally disagrees with those idiots who thought like that.
She could see a bunch of free tables, and her bag which was now empty was on one of those. She disliked crowds and seeing not too many people like this made her felt comfortable. The girl didn't choose a table where it was hard to see as usual. It would be harder for her to find books from the shelves, and walking to the door would take a bunch of times.
What she wanted to do now was giving some books back. She tended to borrow a lot of books to her dorm and gave them back to the librarian all in a day. Based on the fact that she was not too strong, she only borrowed around five books a week. She was planning on borrowing only three books, with the fact that summer break would come soon.
"Third row, seventh from right." Luna took out a note from the book that was placed on the top, read what she wrote. She put notes in all the books she borrowed about where she took them so that the lavendered-hair girl could know where was the right place to put these books. There were a bunch of people who didn't put them in the right place, but that didn't mean she would copy them. She had her own rules, and she wouldn't break them. Rules were meant to follow, and she always disliked people who broke them directly. She only broke a rule if it was too necessary, and she knew how to break them without anyone noticing. Obvious, she hadn't broken any rules yet so she could still call herself a prefect. Despite the fact that she hated being a prefect.
It didn't take the Slytherin Prefect too long to put everything in order. After all, she did this kind of thing every day. She liked the library. This place was usually quiet ad peaceful. Although there were some idiots still wandering around here, like that Gryffindor who drank tea, this place was still one of her favorites. There were a bunch of interesting books here, and she had heard that there would be even more in the future. Not to mention, she wasn't interested in looking at the sky anymore. That kind of stuff was boring to her now.
But now, what kind of books should she get? Astronomy, she had already read a bunch of things about this already. She loved reading about Astronomy after all. Hogwarts, A History was not a bad book either. However, she had lost her interested in this because of people. Prefects might be whatever to her, but she didn't like the professors at all. They couldn't even do their job properly, why should she trust or like them? She refused to do it.
Not to mention, she had already read it a bunch of times. Homework? All done. What should she do now? Luna looked up at the books in front of her, wondering which one she should pick.

But Are You Racist Though?
Lamik walked into the Library, a book balanced on his head and his arms outstretched as if he was walking on a tightrope. A few steps into the expansive hall though, he angled his head down and repositioned his arms in front of his face, catching the book and studying it's intricate golden design for a last time. It was a decent read, though it definitely wasn't the best piece of literature that the young boy had ever read. Luckily, the school year was ending soon, and Lamik could go buy tons of new books back in Rustington with his mum and dad.
As he approached the bookshelf that he remembered taking it from, Lamik noticed a familiar girl studying the wide selection. It took him a few minutes, but after sliding the book in his hands back into place, Lamik realized that she was one of the people that was there on the day of his discovery of the womping Willow. He couldn't remember her name- heck, he wasn't even sure if she had even gave him her name. "Are you looking for something to read?" He asked, smilimg at her. "I can recomend something. I also have some that I can lend you."

But Are You Racist Though?

There was something behind the shelves caught her eyes, and stopped Luna from choosing books. No, saying that it was something was wrong. Because it wasn't something.
It was someone. A human, with two ears, a nose, and a mouth.
If it was just a normal person, there would be no reason for her to distract her from the books. However, this guy, to prove that he wasn't normal, he put a book on his head and walked around like some idiots people who called themselves clowns. But different from a clown, this guy didn't wear make-up to make he looked like a weirdo. Though, she could sense a "weirdo" vibe from that boy.
For some reasons, she suddenly remembered about her little brother. It was not because her brother did something as weird, well at least not in public, like this Gryffindor. It was her brother who showed her a monkey, who did what this guy was doing. Well, she guessed if she wanted to give him a name, it would be Clown Monkey or well, something similar.
It wasn't easy to walk around having books on your head. She knew, based on the fact she was forced to do it before. Her father wanted her to learn how to balance, which was why he used to put books on her head and make her walk around while trying not to drop them. She had to put more than one book on her head, much harder than what that guy was doing. Which was why she doubted that this Gryffindor wanted to train his balancing skill, there was only one book on that guy's head after all.
To be fair, it was none of her business anyway. Whatever this guy wanted to do had nothing to deal with her. Luna turned back to the books in front of her. Time to go back with the important business she had to deal with: Picking books.
Though, how could she forget that life wasn't fair and it would never be? The guy that she had just seen a few minutes ago, who she thought that was not important at all to remember now suddenly appeared right near her. And the most horrible thing was that he started talking to her instead of minding his own business. Talking, as if they have met each other before. She could recall, she had never met this person nor talking to him.
Someone suddenly showed up and then asked you if you needed help when they wouldn't gain something in return. She was not a little kid anymore, clearly, she had to know that that kind of person didn't exist in this world.
Unless they were stupid.
Well, let's just said that this guy was an idiot. However, based on the fact that he was just messing with the books a few minutes ago, why would she believe he would recommend her interesting books? He might recommend her some stupid books.
Luna stared quietly at that guy and after realizing that there was no reason for her to ask for this guy's help, she turned around and started walking to another bookshelf. Maybe there might be some interesting books there, instead of some weird people talking to her.

Lamik Frowned at the girl as she walked away. Maybe she hadn't heard him- as unlikely as it seemed. That must have been what had happened though, the boy decided. Why else would she just not give him a response? The thought that she was ignoring him barely even crossed Lamiks mind. After all, saying the short phrase "no thank you" wasn't exactly something that was difficult to do, nor did it take more then one or two seconds. Not only was ignoring somebody who speaks to you not much better then just declining, but it was also quite mean.
Lamik followed her to the next shelf. "Excuse me-" he started, trying to get her attention. "Do you want help looking for something to read?" Surely she would have heard him this time. Not only had he spoken a bit louder, but he also followed her, which must have signified that he wanted something. If she kept silent though, that might be a sign that she was purposefully ignoring him- he wasn't THAT stupid. Hopefully that wasn't the case though, as Lamik always tried befriending people, and said people being mean always made getting to know them that much more difficult.

She had the thought that this guy would give up, but he proved her that she was wrong. His brain was damaged more than she thought it was. It was not hard to see that she ignored him on purpose. Luna clearly stared at him for one minute straight and turned away. Either he had to be incredibly stupid to not understand her action or he decided to ignore it. Luna could not imagine anyone being that stupid, so she believed the reason was the second one, not the first.
However, it didn't matter if he ignored her reaction on purpose or not. The result was still the same, this guy decided to continue following her either way and made her felt annoyed.
There was a high chance that this guy would continue following her despite the fact she ignored him. Her only choice now was telling him face to face that she did not need his help. To be honest, she did not care about this guy's feelings in the first place, she would not hesitate to say that to his face.
"What kind of books are you going to recommend to me?" Turning to the guy's direction, Luna slightly moved her head up as saying that she was looking down on him. She didn't show any other expression on her face, but her voice was clear that she was mocking him. Then, without hesitation, she turned back and continue walking to another bookcase. What a bad day.
