Give Me A Sign I Want To Believe Solo

Why was it always raining in England, more's the question, why was the weather matching her mood? Elena didn't know these people, so she shouldn't feel like this was something big right?

Elena trudged through the mud that'd built up on the pathway, and finally reached the place she was looking for.

"I'm finally here." Elena leaned tiredly on her staff, watching the graves in front of her with sadness in her usually sparkling eyes, "I suppose it's time I tell you what happened to me since you've been gone."

Elena knelt down and put the flowers on each grave and then stood up again, "It hurt for a while, knowing you existed, that you weren't just some drunk from around the corner. I thought for a moment that you might even be alive."

The gravestones were silent, and wind stirred up the drizzle even more, shaking the trees. The weary girl pulled her cloak closer around her and sighed, "It's okay though, I understand why you couldn't be here, and it's not your fault."

"You don't need to worry about me, I've been beaten and bruised a little bit, the school is a bit of a deathtrap, but you don't need to worry." Elena looked up at the sky as lightning started up in the distance, there was still time, she smiled a little despite herself, "I still have people, you know, in this time. I have Alan and Tal, and god knows I realised I even have Griffith. I wonder if you would've known him..."

The idea entertained Elena for a second. The thunder reminded her that time was limited, and Elena shook the thoughts from her head, "I just want you to know, I'm not sure if I love you, I didn't even know you but- I suppose I wanted to see where I came from. This isn't it though."

"I learned that you did give me one more gift before you left though, I know I'm a Seer." Elena told the graves, "Thank you, it's saved me more than once, I don't think I'd have made it this far without it, and I think right now they're telling me to get out of here, the storm's coming on."

Elena took one last look at the graves then through the rain and out of the silent graveyard.
