And Let The Sun Rain Down On Me Solo Finished

Elena's fingers ghosted along the books of the library, looking for one thing, Seer. Another hint to what the hell was going on with her family tree, too much divination to be an accident, what were the Incendias up to, what were the Cranes up to. Why was her mother a seer but her father not? Questions. Questions that had to be answered somehow, so here she was in the library, looking for a book on something about Seers.

It took a good hour of searching to find the section on Seers, Elena marked it on her map, it was somewhere between magical theory and magizoology, so it was between those sections, interesting.

The sun was threatening to dip below the horizon, meaning it was almost curfew and Elena had to get back to her dorm within... fifteen minutes, according to her watch. That was fine, she had finished the last proper book on it, apparently seers were rare enough that the books written on them were limited. Some were on the prophetess Cassandra, that seemed a terrible curse, to be able to help people but being stopped because nobody believes you. Elena shivered at the thought.

One thing was for sure though, the dreams and the instincts were more of a magical nature than anything else. Elena suddenly felt... loss.

It hit her like a sack of bricks, the idea that she was more alone than she thought, that the one thing bringing her together with the other students, being a witch, wasn't entirely what she thought it was. More than a witch, less than a god, and probably doomed never to be believed, then the sensation of loss was gone.

Elena got up and rubbed her eyes, ignoring the tears on her cheeks, she looked around the library, "Rarer than witches, yet still not a god. I see the future but none will believe me, what am I?"

She left before the library could echo back the reply, You, child, are a Seer.
