Maggie had been home for a week or two now, and she’d never felt better. She’d stayed a few extra weeks at Hogwarts, and she was glad she did, but she was also ecstatic to finally be home. As soon as she’d arrived, he younger siblings had been bombarding her with questions about her “new school”. They didn’t know about the magic aspect of it, as the older Parkers were aftraid they’d run their mouths and end up getting all of them in trouble, so they just told Andrew, Aiden, and Sadie (Zoe couldn’t even talk yet, so they didn’t have to worry) that Maggie was going to a boarding school in Scotland. She wasn’t exactly lying, if they were being technical. Today was no exception: her mother, Charlotte Parker, who was a typical firey redhead, had asked Maggie to watch her younger siblings, which, although a daunting task, was fine with Maggie. Jason’s girlfriend, Abigail Davis, was basically part of the family by now, and Maggie’s mum trusted her to watch Zoe. Anyways, that’s why Maggie was running around one of the very few parks of Brixton with a water gun, overalls, and a swimsuit underneath. She’d found a way to entertain her younger siblings, though it was at the expense of Maggie. She jumped over a slide and quickly ducked under it, grinning widely. She heard her younger twin brothers, Andrew and Aiden, as they prowled around the playground structure looking for her. “We’re gonna get her sooo good!” one of them (Maggie couldn’t tell which) said, in their tiny eight-year-old voices. She would’ve called it cute, but she knew that they were actually evil little gremlins, and many had been fooled by their innocent and adorable exterior. “Yeah!” Sadie, Maggie’s younger sister exclaimed, her five-year-old voice making the twins’ voices sound almost old. Maggie had to bite her hand to keep from laughing as she saw their feet edge closer and closer, and she didn’t realize that Sadie had walked behind her until it was too late. Suddenly, she was completely soaked, and her younger siblings’ maniacal laughter filled her ears. Maggie immediately shot out from under the slide, shaking out her hair to get the water out. Glaring playfully at her siblings, Maggie swooped Sadie up in her arms, leading her and the twins back to their tiny apartment.
