I am quite thrilled that my Quill Pal ended up being someone whom of which I wasn't familiar with. My name is Alexx, I'm a second year Slytherin. I suspect that you aren't in my year, because I know very many second years. That must only mean one thing: that we are strangers. Well, stranger, I am glad to have met you.
I am unsure why we were partnered together. Perhaps we have similar interests? I am not sure how Professor Lear sorted this out- I usually just randomly throw a pair together. Alas, I suppose the mystery is half the fun. You must excuse my formalities, by the way. I am being extremely cautious, as I don't know who you are.
Perhaps we should share a bit about ourselves? You already know my name, house, and year. And- well, I know your name at the least. What else is there to you? Do you have any hobbies? Where did you grow up? What is your favorite class? What are your friends like? I am very excited to know everything about you! There's something rather fun about talking to someone through letter exchange instead of seeing them in person.
