I was soaked from head to toe when I dragged my luggage into the Leakey Cauldron. I paid for a room and without a word just took my things and made my way there.

I was seething with anger. At first towards the Durmstrang headmistress for expelling me, and then to my idiot brother for ratting me out for my pranks.

I kicked my luggage under my bed, cursing as my foot hurt. I threw off my shoes and wet clothing, changing to some dry ones and launching myself on the bed in the middle of the room.

With a sigh, I thought about everything that had happened. I had waited so long to go to Dumrstrang and I'd gotten kicked out the first week. 'I always mess everything up.'

Maybe the flooding prank had gone a little too far. And maybe I hadn't been a model student and maybe I stole books and perhaps I sent one a highly forbidden one (at least in Hogwarts) to a friend of mine as a prank. Maybe things had gone too far... Maybe.

I layed in bed, staring up at the ceiling and thought about her. Airlia was my best friend of many years. She had been at the back of my mind throughout the whole trip.

God, I'd missed her. Going to Hogwarts might not be so bad. Especially since she would be there.

Going to a wizarding school hadn't felt right without my best friend. I was glad that I'd been accepted to Hogwarts a week late. Now I would get to study and go to school with her. AND get away from my idiotic moron brothers for a change.

Which, obliviously is pretty great!

I didn't sleep much that night. All I could think about was going to Hogwarts the next morning. The whole train ride I would be alone. Empty trains since students had gone to school a week ago.

At first, I thought I would be bored but the sleepier I got, the more excited I grew.

A whole train to myself. There were endless possibilities for pranks to be set up and mischief to be made.

It was cold in the bedroom. I had to wrap myself into the blankets and basically sink into the bed and still, I felt cold. I watched the rain hit the window of my room and the drops race down the clean surface.

A storm was coming.

I thought about Hogwarts again. I was pretty sure I already knew which house I would be going to. Slytherin. Every story I had head about the Slytherin house just made me more and more sure about it. The Slytherins would be my home and family at Hogwarts.

Except that I had other family at the school too. Airlia. I was 99% sure she wasn't sorted into Slytherin. I wasn't sure where she was. Ravenclaw was out of the question too so Gryffindor and Hufflepuff were left.

I could get her into so many adventures once I got to school.

Annoyed once again when my thoughts wandered back to Durmstrang I cringed and turned to lay on my side, staring at the door instead of the rain-stained window this time. I was so glad I wasn't out there in the rain. Even if it was cold; being dry instead of wet was a huge plus.

When I finally calmed my thoughts and focused on my reputation over my Hogwarts enrollment and Durmstrang expelling I found peace.

I was creating a plan in my head for popularity. Once someone had said that they could bottle fame and brew glory. I made a mental note to focus on potions with extra detail.

As someone coming in late my story would already cause gossip and talk, all I needed to do was keep that focus on me. And I knew just the way on how to do that. Pranks, trouble, mischief, good looks, charming but dangerous trouble-making personality, not caring about one's education and getting a spot in the inner circle of the coolest people in school.

I basically did all of that in Durmstrang already and made quite an impression in just a week. The castle would be buzzing for weeks about me and no one would forget the time Ezekiel Onyx entered through the doors of Durmstrang; surfing on a massive wave... That just happened to flood the school.

This time I would think my pranks through, make them bigger, better, more over the top. But this time I won't get caught. This time I won't get expelled.

I racked my brain over endless possibilities of pranks to pull. There were so many that he wanted to do.

Good thing getting expelled from Hogwarts was nearly impossible since the school seemed to forgive and forget every transgression and give a million new chances to its troubled students.

Good thing that now I have seven years to work out every conniving deed and plot.
