Just looking~
Caitlin smiled as she walked down the aisle of clothes, her hand gently brushing against different dresses and cloaks. Despite growing up in a pureblood family she never really had many fancy clothes, but she always enjoyed going into shops just to look around at all the beautiful clothes. Her hand hovered over a soft blue dress before closing her eyes with a sigh. Caitlin let her usual smile fall from her lips as a frown took over. She was normally a happy person but jealousy could change a person. She was always envious of girls who walked the halls with fancy, well-made clothes. She only grew up with hand-me-downs from her mother that were always way too big for her so she always got picked on by the kids in grade school. But now that she was a wizard she could buy her own clothes, and that made her happy. So she let the smile come back to her face as she picked the dress up off the rack and walked to the counter to pay for it. She paid for it with a bright look in her eyes and a song on her lips. This was a good day.

Just looking~
Maya walked in the store with her head down. But it was too late before she could do anything. She bumped right into another girl. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Maya said, seeing that the girl had dropped her dress. She reached out her hand to help the girl up. "Wow, that is one pretty dress." Maya took a good look at it. "What's your name? I'm Maya Kingston." she smiled, Maya needed some friends around here, so she tried to make a good first impression. After the girl was up on her feet, Maya apologized once more. She looked at the dresses and found a red one. It looked similar to the girl's dress. Maya looked at the price tag, "Oh darn it." she sighed. She knew money was tight with her aunt, and Maya would send an owl asking for money, but it seemed impossible. Her aunt would never let her own a dress and high heels. She was stuck in jeans and a tee-shirt.
Maya walked back up front and sat down on a bench. She looked at the coins in her hand and sighed once more. She was a galleon short. Well, it was worth a try.
Be strong, be proud, be brave

She said goodbye to her Dad and Mom and rushed towards Madam Malkin, glad to have some freedom for once. She opened the door and walked into the clothing store, galleons in hand. Growing up in a pureblood Slytherin family meant that first impressions were key, and what was instrumental in a first impression? Clothing. Mia wandered around the store, glancing at the items. After compiling a stack of no less than 10 items of clothing, two skirts, three pairs of gloves, and five dresses, Mia went to the dressing room and tried each one on, pulling them up and over her head, and making sure they fit right. She did not want to have these tailored. Once she had tried them all on, Mia walked towards the front, placing the gloves and two of the dresses in the discard rack, and the other five clothing items on the counter. As she paid, she noticed a girl sitting sheepishly on a bench, money in hand. After paying for the items, Mia walked slowly over to the girl. As she walked she planned what she was going to say. She sat down next to the girl.
