Do first years have 30 or 35 points? I thought they had thirty but according to the species thread they have 35 and special species have 30.

Hi @Evelyn Moore! I just wanted to clarify Lavinia's answer. Currently we are in the midst of the beta release for our races and special abilities system. Right now, Gryffindor and the top three house point earners for April and May are included in this beta. The system will be released site-wide in July.

The link quoted also includes what you will need in your Encyclopedia, should you have any more questions. If it is not answered, feel free to reach out again.Character Stats: This would be your character’s stats. You start with 30 stat points in total. This is not per stat but the aggregate total. We will be using this 4-Stat-System until the 30th of June, 2019 and then switch to the 6-Stat-System (details on that can found here).
Strength = physical power, and will be used for physical actions such as beater for Quidditch
Agility = speed and capacity for dodging, and will be used for actions like Keeper for Quidditch and Evasion in duels
Control = accuracy and capacity for fine actions, and will be used for scoring by Chasers in Quidditch and casting spells in duels
Stamina = physical durability, and will function as it has previously (+100 HP per point)
Your stats will need to be updated, so as you gain more stat points you will need to update this page.

I can't really understand
We have to divide our total stat points ourselves?
How do we know how many stats we have?

Human first years have 35 stat points, every time you move up a year, you get +5. Winning in sports like Quidditch, duelling or broom racing gets you extra stat points.Claire Spennikins wrote: 26 Feb 2022, 16:52 I can't really understand

You can distribute them however you want, but you need minimum 1 in Stamina and can have maximum 10 in one category as a first/second year.

35 stat points- divide it up in 6 categories- only stamina can't be 0, and, stat caps are 10. That's if yer a human.
If yer a different race (part goblin, part veela, etc)- you start of with thirty and really it's the same as I said above, just with 30
