It'll be fine[Private] Comp.
A loud yawn escaped Primrose as she curiously looked at the Jobberknoll pecking away at the grass, her mother had spoken about these birds as if they were worth about as much as diamonds; but then again that was most likely because the little things were the reason her parents met to begin with.
''Cute one, aren't you?'' She stated with a grin, she was a bit tired honestly but her absolute glee with seeing the silent birds kept her as energetic as possible. A sudden sound in a nearby bush, most likely a pretty confused owl, caused the bird to look up; panic pretty apparent. It's wings flapping slightly as the added sound of a Ravenclaw calling out for it's mate caused it to start fluttering.
''Oh no'' Primrose stood up, she was not loosing this thing until she could get a few good looks more. They were absolutely adorable and she at least wanted to get a proper mental image of them- and maybe see it acting all cute again.
As she stood up, she dusted off her uniform and happily skipped after the bird that had taken flight; laughing to herself as it flew around her- she simply assumed the little blue creature understood she was just as curious about him..or her? that they were about her. She quickly stepped to the side, almost stepping on a student.
''Sorry about that'' She called out with a nervous laugh, before continuing to look up at the bird, oh yeah not looking where she was going at all.

It was a nice day with sunlight but the winds were strong and made the air cold whenever they picked up speed. Airlia was sure that muggles were losing their sunhats and scarves in this weather.
Airlia sat with her legs stretched in front of her on a small hilltop reading a book about astronomy. She was clad in her school cloak that kept her nicely warm and protected her from the wind. Other than some students occasionally laughing and joking around as they were on walks by the lakes water edge, it was silent and peaceful.
The cold wind near the water reminded Airlia of home and made her think of old memories from home. Occasionally she would look up from her book and enjoy the view. The lake's surface was rippling from the wind and shimmering with the sun whenever it peeked from behind thin whispy looking clouds. The winds were causing the lake to have rather powerful currents and Airlia was quite sure that swimming was not a possibility during a day like this. The water's flow could take a swimmer to the deeper middle of the lake in seconds, or even pull an inexperienced swimmer underwater.
Once again Airlia looked up from her book as her peace was disturbed by someone almost stepping on her feet.
The girl apologized sounding embarrassed and then Airlia saw the girl's companion. Briefly, she wondered if the small blue bird was a pet of the young student but then recognized it as a magical creature that was most definitely not up for sale as pets. Jobberknoll's feathers you see are used in potions and are extremely valuable.
The girl had bruised knees and curly blonde hair. She was quite short and that was one of the many reasons why Airlia believed that the girl was around her own age. She had that inexperienced, innocent look to her. It was easy to read the girl and her bubbly, sweet demeanor.
Airlia watched with a small smile as the girl followed the bird with happy giggles as the bird flapped around the girl rather joyfully. Airlia could see that the girl was good with magical creatures and wondered if the girl might some day share a Care of Magica Creatures class with her. She would probably be a great partner to have there.
Then she noticed it. The girl was far too close to the water's edge and there was a rock right on the edge that could trip the girl up.
"Watch out!" Airlia screamed and saw the girl's heel hit the slippery stone.

"Watch out!"
The words didn't reach Primrose quite fast enough, and she felt her balance failing her as suddenly the hard ground underneath her was nothing but the dark water of the lake. The bird was seemingly spooked, flying away at quite the speed as the girl looked down when the cold water embraced her.
It was terrifying, for many reasons. The cold water hugged her body, the heavy fabrics become heavier by the second as they became soaked- the movement of a fish now and then as Primrose felt her eyes sting with pain from coming in contact with the water. That is when she remembered the very fun fact, that she was an awful swimmer- and the water started entering her throat; pain and discomfort flooding her as her throat started burning as she gasped for a fail attempt to get oxygen in the cold. It'd be rather ironic, if she died because she followed a bird- seeing as a bird is the reason she was ever even born.
The water was hugging her body tighter, she must've looked ridiculous - what 11 year old couldn't swim? Then again, maybe people would care more that she wasn't coming up from falling initially. It's funny, cause she thought she would float rather than sink- Primrose forcing her eyes shut as she trashed in the water. Why did the school have a lake? Why did it have a lake that she is pretty sure is trying to kill her? Primrose could feel panic bubbling inside her, why in the world had nobody gotten her yet. She felt her body become slower by the second, even if her panic made her desperately try to reach the surface that she was now underneath once more.

Airlia watched in horror as the girl slipped on the rock and plummeted into the water with a splash.
She could see the girl panic and take in water as she took huge gasps and was pulled by the current further and further away from the shore. The girl struggles and waved her arms around and Airlia could see that it wasn't doing the girl any good.
The girl was having a panic attack and Airlia knew that was one of the most dangerous things that one could do in a moment like this.
Airlia knew the girl wouldn't get out of the water on her own. She'd been wearing many layers of clothing that were weighing her down as they got wet. The girl would drown if someone didn't help her.
Airlia looked around but no one was even in the vicinity of the lake. She knew that getting help from the castle would take too long and that she needed to do something. Now!
Running as fast as she could Airlia threw her cloak off her body as she sprinted towards the lake, she dropped her wand to the ground, in fear that she'd lose it in the murky water since she didn't even know any spells to help the girl. She would have to do this the muggle way.
When the cold water first hit her feet Airlia didn't even flinch. She swam even during winters in Finland and while it had been a while she was so used to much colder water than this that it didn't bother her much. She was quick to adapt to temperature changes like this.
She ran till she was thigh deep which is when the water's strength almost pulled her off her feet too. The current was strong and running in the water was near impossible.
Finding all her power Airlia took a leaping start from the bottom and started swimming as fast as she could. The currents by the grace of Merlin were taking her closer to the girl. She could feel that moving in the water was restricted as the lake chose where she went, no matter how hard she swam: "Hold on I'm coming!" She yelled, struggling to stay on the surface as the girl still wailed around.
The girl's movements turned slower until the girl was almost still. Airlia knew the shock and incoming hypothermia were affecting the girl, making it almost impossible to function properly.
That's when the water engulfed the girl and pulled her underwater.
Airlia, swimming with nothing but will and determination at this point was not going to let this girl drown. She heaved and took huge breaths as her muscles were growing tired. When she reached the spot where the girl had disappeared underwater she took a huge breath and dove down after her.
She opened her eyes and felt the uncomfortable feeling of water hitting her eyes. She looked around and saw a glimpse of the girl's pale hand reaching up from the dark depths of the lake. She swam downward until she was face to face with the still sinking girl.
In a dark way, the sight was beautiful. The robe of the girl floated around the girl like a dress of the tail of a mermaid, small rays of sun breached the surface and the girl's hair frames her face.
Grabbing the girl's hand Airlia tried to swim to the surface to no avail. The girl was too heavy. She started pushing and pulling on the girl's robe until it was off her. She watched the robe slowly float to the bottom of the lake. With the last of her strength, Airlia swam towards the surface.

The way up to the surface was a blur, a mix of beautiful colors and feeling incredibly tired as she felt herself being pulled. The feeling of the water rushing past her as they started approaching the surface. Every now and then in the blurry sight she had she could see the yellow accent of her cloak.
The cold air hit her like a punch in the face, a sudden surge of oxygen as she was pulled up onto the grass and stones caused her to jolt slightly- water leaving her mouth as she started coughing up a storm. The water left her mouth as she was rolling over on her stomach, weakly holding herself above the ground with shaky hands. The clothes starting clinging to her body in uncomfortable hugs and she felt every breeze so much more as her uneven breathing tried to calm itself.
''T-Thank you'' Her voice was hoarse, almost a whisper and tears started welling from Primrose eyes as she held her own arms and shook. Her hair was stringy and wet, almost covering her face and she was sure she'd get a cold from this..rather that than death she supposed. Her blurry sigh started to focus, the grass underneath her that had been turned wet and dampened underneath her was now getting as clear as day; a small insect crawling away from the sudden chaos that had erupted when they came up from the water. The tears were warm against her cheek, her lip quivering wildly as her entire body soon followed with the shaking.
A deep breath was almost impossible but she did her best, a panicked hand looking for the person who helped her up as she took careful hold of their arm as she started coughing once more- some water once again leaving her mouth as another hoarse breath followed. It was somehow comforting, holding the strangers wet clothing and feeling hints of the cold skin behind it- she wasn't alone and someone had helped her. The fear and realization of what would have happened, should she have been alone in this scenario was awful. It washed over like nothing before and the tears just wouldn't stop falling as she felt a weak sob escape her; she was so scared just now. Utterly terrified and the feeling of helplessness was something she never wanted to feel again. She could feel how the grass and stones slightly irritated her knees as she quickly tried to sit up, in an attempt to get away from the water in her panic after starting to cry and realize the situation more.

Airlia was so glad to be out of the water. Swimming against the current had drained her of power as she gasped for air. Her chest hurt and her legs were close to numb. Her bones felt like rubber. She was so tired she might have fallen asleep right then and there if she didn't feel an immense need to take care of the girl.
Airlia felt the girl grip her arm so tightly her nails sunk into her skin. Airlia at that moment was glad that the cold water had numbed her arms. The girl's grip barely hurt.
The girl was seeping into shock again as she cried with loud sobs. The girl was drenched from head to toe, and her whole body shivered. Water dripped from both of them and Airlia was going through everything she knew about hypothermia treatments. The girl was truly lucky that Airlia had been here. Not only for the reason that she was saved but also because the girl was from a colder climate country and as such was taught how to treat hypothermia from a young age. It was in every school's curriculum.
The girl's skin was turning into a slightly pink-ish color and Airlia knew hypothermia was a serious risk at that point. Airlia was quick in her actions. She squeezed water off the girls hair, skirt and shirt as fast as she could. She bolted to the robe she'd left on the grass and wrapped it around the girl. She knew that spells were out of the question. Warming the girl up too quickly could cause heart arrhythmia. She needed to be taken out of those freezing cold clothes, dried and gotten inside. She hugged the girl from the waist knowing that warming up her hands or legs before her torso would only intensify the shock the girl was going through.
She needed to get the girl inside: "Listen to me." When the girl didn't react much Airlia needed to shake it off her: "Listen! I need to get you inside now. We need to go to the hospital wing and get you looked at. You can't stay in wet clothing and even though you aren't in that water anymore you're in serious danger of hypothermia."
She helped the girl up, steadying her on her feet when the girl wavered: "I'm Airlia, I'm going to take care of you so you need to tell me your name."

The warm cloak felt odd, almost painful but extremely comforting as she raised her shoulders and almost hugged the soft fabric. Her eyes darting around as she almost pushed herself into this complete stranger, she felt awful- panicked and cold. Primrose met the girls eyes momentarily, she felt ashamed for reacting this way.
''I'm- I'm sorry'' She stammered, tears falling from her face as she cried; the panic and relief of what had transpired and being alive getting to her more than she ever thought it would. ''I'm...Primrose. Primrose Edwards'' She whispered, gladly accepting the half-hug from the other student as she let out another sob. She really didn't want to go to the hospital wing again, she was there way too often. But Hyopthermia did not sound fun at all, if anything it sounded awful- terrifying.
She sent the student a shaky nod, barely able to walk without much help as she shivered and felt her legs buckle underneath her weight every now and then. She didn't understand just how bad she looked until she heard another student audibly and loudly gasp upon seeing the two girls, covering their mouth and running off to most likely get a teacher or the nurse; hopefully the nurse. The air picked up once more, causing Primrose to panic slightly and move closer to the other student. She didn't want to be that cold ever again, never ever in her life again.
''I'm sorry'' She repeated to the other student, she had gotten someone else involved in her clumsy accidents once more.
