Lost in London
After Airlia got out of the ministry of magic she ended up on a street that was quite narrow and dark. No one was walking around, there was not a witch, wizard or muggle in sight.
With a relieved sigh she stepped out of the phone booth and onto the streets. There were distant sounds of cars driving around, honking in the traffic.
Wondering which way to go she looked at both ends of the street and ended up choosing to make her way towards the louder one. 'There must be plenty of people near the train station especially now that all students and their families are arriving:' Airlia thought to herself, reasoning her decision.
When Airlia got to the busier streets she saw an old looking church, a small park and something they called the Royal Veterinary college. She once again wondered which way to go and pulled her trunk behind her as she chose to approach the church. A nice looking lady stood near the church, looking around while wearing a safety vest and a tall looking black hat that reminded her of a horseback riding helmet. The back of her vest said POLICE on it with big letters.
She was talking into a small device, strapped to her chest and talking about some sort of codes: "Excuse me, could you help me, please?" Airlia asked, feeling sorry for interrupting the woman's conversation.
"Gimme a sec here." The woman said to the device and put it away: "Yeah sure dear, what seems to bee the matter?" The woman had a heavy British accent and a bright smile that showed all her teeth.
"I'm a little lost. I'm looking for the King's Cross train station. Could you give me directions, please?"
"Of course darling. So you go straight until you see Pancras road on your left. You walk along that street until it turns into Goods Way, Pancras road continues right from there on so you still follow the same street signs. You will have YouTube Space on your left and then a European restaurant that'll tell you-you're going in the right direction. Then you follow down that same road until Kings Cross is on your right." The policewoman was nice and gestured to different directions while she spoke.
”Great, thanks.” Airlia smiled: ”I think I can find my way now.”
”Glad to help, dear. Hope you make your train.”
”Thanks.” Airlia smiled and turned away and started walking.
”Wrong way.” The woman called after her and with an embarrassed blush, Airlia turned around and went to the direction the woman was pointing into.
What Airlia didn’t hear was the woman saying: ”She’s so going to get lost. Hopeless case that one."
Airlia follower the instructions of the woman as precisely as she could, truth be told she could barely remember even half of it and found herself turning back more than one when she realized she was not on any of the streets the woman mentioned. Sometimes she even mixed left and right together.
She was truly lost in London.

Lost in London
After wandering around for what felt like half an hour Airlia didn't know what to do. In ten minutes the train would leave whether she was on it or not.
She felt pressure on her chest and a little nauseous thinking how embarrassing it would to arrive late or having to write a letter to headmaster Solomon Lear and ask for a teacher or other staff member from Hogwarts to come to pick her up. She wondered if they even would. Maybe she would have to return home and try again next year. Maybe then her parents would actually come with her.
And then Airlia noticed something. A woman fussying over two children, a boy and a girl around her age. They all had brown hair and freckles and it was easy to tell they were mother and her children. The main reason that caught her attention though was that the woman was wearing a pointed witch hat and the children had trunks they were pulling behind them. They were going to Hogwarts too!
Airlia was fast to start following the family, saying behind them so she wouldn't lose them with all the muggles walking and riding bikes around.
"Ugh, muggles. If I had ever learned to apparate I would have just done that straight to the platform. Oh I do hate coming to muggle London." The woman's whines proved Airlia's theory about them being magical kind. "We have less than ten minutes so hurry along." The woman ushered her children to walk faster and suddenly Airlia saw it.
The King's Cross station and it's huge clocktower.
All sorts of people were walking toward it. People wearing nothing but black, people wearing pastel colors, children holding teddy bears, people with colored pink, blue and green hair. Even a man with a multicolored mohawk. People from all around the world, were ready to travel, catching trains at eleven.
Ecstatic Airlia started running with a huge smile, passing the family and making her way straight inside.
