There is now a of a word counter under the message editor, to help you write your RP  

Bugfix: it was impossible to add external images into posts, it's now fixed.

Note that external images URL must start with https. If not, they won't be shown for safety reasons.

Please remember that it is always best to send your images with the "upload" button: they will then be hosted on hogwarts.io and remains forever

This week, many bugfixes and improvements:

• I worked a lot to improve the text editor, including a lot of bug fixes to prevent unwanted breaklines and a blinking scrollbar on Firefox;
• an huge improvement on Microsoft Edge, which wasn't able to display the header and footer bar properly; it remains recommended to use another browser, such as Firefox or Chrome;
• in the Owlery, the sender name and the dates are now fully displayed; I also fixed the stamp rendering on smartphone;
• a lot of translations has been improved, thanks to many of you :) 

It is still a find-and-destroy bugs time, but I hope I'll be able to prepare exciting new features soon.

Meanwhile, the Hogwarts team and I are working on an huge surprise. Stay tuned  

After many (many...) hours, I fixed several rendering bugs on Internet Explorer, especially:

• the unread messages number in the Owlery;
• the icons opacity on the top right;
• the forbidden places in the chimney are now displayed in grayscales;
• the trunk keys are now correctly displayed;
• the scrollbars now works properly.

Anyway, I still recommend to use another browser: your experience will be much better, here and elsewhere (fluidity, image scaling...).

Several improvements today:
- filters in the address book should now work properly;
- the text editor has now a maximum height, to keep the toolbar on the screen;
- no more disconnection when you mark all topics as read for those who doesn't have cookies;
- deleted topics are now removed from the favorites;
- the filters rules are now fully working in the Owlery.

Just fixed a bug in the character description in the profile. Code tags could sometimes appear.
We tried to manually correct the impacted profiles. If something remains, you can edit it by yourself!

Several news:

• Timezones are now displayed in the profiles: it will be easier to guess when a player will be able to read / answer. Of course, if you don't want to show your timezone for privacy reasons, you can disable it in Profile > Preferences.
• It is now possible to disable the visual text editor and to use a classic BBcode editor instead. To do so, go to Profile > Preferences.

I also fixed several bugs with the text editor: you can now resize it, and the scroll on iOS (iPhone, iPad) should work again.

Two updates today! 

• new students won't see lessons and homeworks until they are 10 days old on the website and until they have posted 20 messages; homework correction is a very time-consuming activity for the professors, and we need to ensure it's done for active members staying on the website; actual students who already send or save a homework keep a full access;
• a word counter has been added to help you do your homeworks  

A small update today has been done :

- The bug that made some of the notification preferences useless in your settings has been corrected.
- When replacing a lesson, professors can set some conditions to make the new lesson not mandatory for student that already have made the old lesson homework done.
