Just a Little Lost
Finn had just finished his sorting ceremony - he was still reeling from the fact he was a Hufflepuff. He was planning on going to the library to read through all the history books he could find, as he'd already entirely finished Hogwarts: A History after purchasing his school supplies. He wished to fill his brain to the brim with the mysteries of Hogwarts. Not just for his own enjoyment, but also as an attempt to fit into a world he'd only recently known he was a part of.
Somehow, he'd found himself on the second floor of the school, though he was quite sure he'd heard the library was on the ground floor. Hogwarts was already beginning to get the best of him, the twisting staircases and multitude of corridors confusing the young boy. And as he had yet to make any friends, he had no way of being guided through the labyrinth of the school. With a sigh, he was already accepting he was most likely going to be late to his first classes once they begun.
As humans often had to do, Finn had to pee. Turning a corner, he dipped into the first bathroom he could find. Immediately, however, he was greeted by the dingiest, darkest, most decrepit bathroom he'd ever set his eyes on. Though it was his first time using a Hogwarts bathroom, he was almost positive this isn't how they were supposed to look - the rest of the castle was so ornate and grand in comparison. Additionally, the place seemed to be deserted. He considered leaving, but suddenly felt embarrassed at the idea of admitting he had gotten lost. So, he decided to suck it up and pee before quickly getting out.

Just a Little Lost
Charlie was coming back in from walking the grounds for the first time. She knew the Ravenclaw Common Room was on the 4th floor, but there was so many staircases, and they were all moving, that she wasn't sure which one to take. She took a deep breath and started climbing. It didn't take long before she got lost.
"Look at the itty bitty 1st year! So lost! So confused! Let Peeves help!" the mischievous ghost cackled.
"Oh no! Peeves! Ouch! Stop! That hurts!" Charlie cried out as Peeves pelleted her with small stones.
How does a ghost even throw stones!?! she thought as she ran, ducking and weaving, trying to avoid the stones.
She turned a corner and about ran smack into a boy coming out of what seemed to be the bathrooms. Without thinking she grabbed the boy and yanked him back into the bathroom, shutting the door and putting her finger to her lips, signaling him to be quite.
She listened intensely, hearing peeves get angry and frustrated for loosing her. Once she was sure he was gone she let out her breath and turned to the boy. "Sorry bout that. Peeves was after me. Trust me, you didn't want to be in the line of fire! I'm Charlie by the way," she said, smiling now that the danger was gone, and lending her hand out for the boy to shake.

Just a Little Lost
Finn almost 'yipped' in surprise when someone pulled him into the bathroom, though managed to keep himself silent. He didn't protest as the girl commanded him to keep quiet. There was so much about the school he had yet to learn and yet to explore that he trusted the girl's judgement without much thought. As soon as she explained herself, he cracked the door open and looked down the hall. "Who's Peeves?" He questioned, interest sparking inside his imagination. "Is he creepy? Mean? Evil?" He was growing excited at the prospect of something new, something he had yet to experience.
"Oh, I'm Finn. It's a pleasure to meet you." He smiled at her. "I haven't actually met anyone here yet. If you can't tell, I'm a bit excited." He then remembered his muggle-born status, and blushed a bit. "Not for any particular reason. I mean, I've known about this place for ages." He lied. He wasn't about to blow his first potential friendship by spouting out unnecessary facts about himself.
Finn then turned back to examine the bathroom once more. "It's a bit odd, innit? Do all the bathrooms here look like that? I mean, I know what they look like, I just..." He sighed. "Do they all look this creepy?" He finished, resigning before he made more of a fool out of himself.

Just a Little Lost
Daniel was exploring the various corridors of the castle, even after being here for months, he still hadn't discovered everything it had to offer. Along the way various students walked past him without bother, not interested where this first year was going or doing. This made him think about something he recently viewed in a newspaper story. From the looks of things people in the wizarding community didn't have bright views on Muggle-Borns , the reason for that was still yet to be seen. Yet, if any student had any problems with his background he'd convince them otherwise, anyone with the same gift deserves to have the same chance as everyone else.
His thoughts came to an end as well as his route, towards the back of the corridor was a dark room which he hadn't noticed before, a place that looked dark and deserted. Daniel cautiously walked to the doorway and slowly peaked his head into the room, he was surprised by what he saw. The whole room looked like an aftermath of a bomb, various waste and objects were scattered around the room, it was clear the toilets were in need of a much needed maintenance. Suddenly, a pair of voices could be heard inside and pretty close by too. One was the voice of a girl and another belong to a boy around his age, it seemed like they were talking about a ghost at first before moving onto something else.
The thought of a ghost brought a grin to his face, maybe he could do play a little prank on his fellow students. He wasn't going to go too far on the pair, only enough to give them a little fright. Daniel knew they were somewhere nearby, from the sound of things they only sounded a few feet away. His attention was soon on the floor, looking for the object to start off this prank. Eventually, he found a little fragile piece of panel shaped in a square. This was going to be perfect. After a few seconds he took his place behind the wall, quickly throwing the piece of fragile panel into the room. *CRASH* upon impact it shattered into pieces, safely away from the two kids standing by each other "WoooooOOOOooooo" soon follows in a low almost sarcastic wavy tone, echoing mysteriously around the room. Unknowing about the pairs reaction, he giggles to himself and puts a hand to his mouth to muffle the noise, which would also echo around the room too.

Just a Little Lost
His heart was pounding, and it was then he understood that this was the right place.@Daniel Freeman | mention: Charlie Kasjaka
Late that night, Isaac was caught up reading a book, straining his eyes under the dim candlelight as Ashton and Scott shifted in their sleep. Now normally, he had no interest in reading; he saw no use in filling his mind with a bunch of useless information from musty tomes - the required school reading was enough. But if there was something that captured his overactive imagination, it was the supernatural. From the new revelation that merpeople were terrifying creatures, to the spooky legends of Hogwarts itself, there was something fascinating about it. He could actually discover the mysteries he was reading about, and of course, actually confirm if they were real.
And so, he was on the hunt. His search led his feet up an unfamiliar staircase, creaking with disuse and ruin. Flitting about in the shadows of the corridors, he brushed his hand against corroded stone. The silence filling the halls only told him that he was on the right track. But suddenly, he heard a cry piercing the quiet.
"Oh no! Peeves! Stop! Ouch! That hurt!"
Eyes widening, he thundered down the corridor, racing towards the source of the noise. Finally, a ghost! He thought in excitement, energy making him run even faster. It didn't really matter to him that other students were breaking the rules and hanging around the toliets, maybe they just wanted to explore too. A raucous laugh continued to echo, he guessed, from Peeves. But it faded.
Instead, another strange voice began to howl, "Ooooh!" Accompanying the howl was a loud crash and shatter of glass. Believing that he had finally found the offending ghost, he pulled out his wand and charged them, only to find that it was a kid with his back pressed against the wall!
It was too late. Skidding out of control, Isaac crashed right into them, sending the two of them sprawling onto the floor.

Sorry guys! I didn't realize I had to subscribe to the posts to get notifications on them, so I'm having to go back through everything thing and subscribe and reply. Sorry for the delay!
Charlie noticed that the boy didn't take her hand to shake, so she quickly put it down, feeling a bit awkward. She thought he was just going to walk out and leave, but found he was just looking to make sure the coast was clear before asking about Peeves. He seemed innocent enough, maybe a bit awkward, but what 1st year isn't?
"Peeves, from what I've read, and heard from my parents, and sister, is VERY mischievous. He loves throwing things, and making the loudest, and biggest ruckus. He's like the class clown, prankster, and trouble maker all in one. That was my first run in with him, and I'm sure it won't be my last," Charlie said before listening to Finn introduce himself. She didn't think anything odd of him being excited until he tried to brush it off. Charlie smirked, and narrowed her eyes.
"It's okay to be excited. I've known about this place my whole life, but being here in person is something else! It's amazing, isn't it?" Charlie asked, looking around the bathroom, as if it was the most amazing bathroom. She studied the bathroom for a moment as she listened to Finn ask about the bathrooms. It was quite odd that this bathroom looked like it had been abandoned. Sinks were broken, stalls were not kept up, mirrors were broken, and it had a slightly foul smell to it.
"No, I can't imagine all the bathrooms to be like this. There has to be a reason this bathroom is like this. If I remember right....Hogwarts A His-" Charlie stopped as something flew by her shoulder and crashed into the wall. She jumped back, screaming and hitting her back into one of the walls. "What in the world was that?!?" She exclaimed before hearing an audible "Oooooh" coming from the door. Her eyes narrowed at the door before she looked back at Finn. She opened her mouth to say something but before she could, she heard someone running, and then a crash outside the door. Charlie rolled her eyes before whispering "Prankster Alert!" to Finn.

@Charlie Kasjaka @Isaac Ambrose @Daniel Freeman so sorry for replying so late! my life got a little rocky for a bit.
Hearing about Peeves gave Finn the realization that they were pretty much opposites. Finn would do crazy stuff for his friends, but otherwise, he was extremely obedient at all times. The thought of having to deal with a relentless magical creature when he's trying to get to class made him shudder. "That sounds frightening," He said sympathetically.
Finn took a moment to dream about what it must be like to have known about Hogwarts your entire life. He wondered briefly if he may have been lucky in the sense that Hogwarts was infinitely more magical and wonderful when he hadn't previously known of its existence. Then again, that was one of the only pros of being muggle-born.
Finn opened his mouth to ask Charlie something when he flinched in fright at the sound of the ghostly howling until the blonde girl whispered to him about a 'prank'. He realized quickly how silly he'd been - of course it had been another student and not a real ghost! He hoped against hope that the girl didn't notice how genuinely frightened he'd been. To play it up even more, he laughed forcefully. "Yeah, I thought it would be funny if I pretended to be scared. Because it wasn't scary at alllll..." He flashed a grin at the girl, hoping it looked more impressive than it felt.
Finn then noticed the bodies of the two boys who had been behind the crashing. Forgetting about Charlie for a moment, Finn took a few steps forward and blinked at the boys. "Um... you two alright?" He asked carefully, wondering if he should offer a hand to help.
Sincerely, Finn Valois
