What? How!
Luna was stumbling along the road, a little dumbfounded. She couldn’t remember a time when she had questioned the world as much as she was doing then. Though the letter had arrived more than a week ago, she still couldn’t wrap her head around the idea of magic existing. Sure, strange things had happened, but this was the strangest by far, and the worst bit was she couldn’t tell her friends, or her extended family. Only her mother and father knew. She was looking out for signs of magic, wherever she went, and she saw people, dressed in cloaks, and Luna wondered if they were wizards.
The equipment list had included cauldrons, and robes, and Luna had been confused as to where to get all the stuff. She had been told to go to the Leaky Cauldron, so she looked it up, but nothing had come up on the internet. So here she was, looking all over London for the shop. Suddenly, she spotted it - but it was nothing like she had imagined. The pub was dirty, grungy, and didn’t seem like a place you could get magic equipment. Suddenly, she crashed into someone, and tumbled to the ground. Pain flashed through her arm.

Illowy ran a hand through her hair as she made her way towards the Leaky Cauldron, her mother telling her that she would meet up with her there later on after she finished a few of her own errands. Not that that bothered the young witch much, being fairly independent in that way. She wanted to get her own things anyway, and she mother had given her all the money she would need to get her equipment for the upcoming school year, and then some if she wanted a treat.
Going to Hogwarts one day had always been a dream of the girl's, her mother having been a graduate from there, as well as practically every other person in her family; and it excited her to carry on that legacy. She studied her list of supplies that she was going to need, contemplating each shop she'd need to go to in order to find her things before she felt someone suddenly bang into her, tumbling them both backwards, "Hey! Watch where you're going!" she huffed, quickly folding up her list and shoving it into her pocket as she climbed to her feet.
The girl dusted herself off a bit, readjusting the cropped, black cloak around her shoulders, the inside lined with a rich blue satin. It had been a gift from her mother, anticipating for the child to follow in her Ravenclaw footprints.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

What? How!
Camille sighed as she walked through the streets of London. Her shoes tapped on the cobblestone, sending an echo resounding off the buildings for a couple seconds. This was where she'd grown up, so she knew the place very well.
Camille smiled as the lamps began to light. Wonderful. There's nothing like a London evening. The air had a bit of a chill to it, and Camille shivered. She'd forgotten her winter cloak at home, not expecting it to be so cold outside. "That's the last time you forget something so important," she muttered to herself as she quickly rubbed her arms to warm herself up. Of course, she knew that it wasn't going to be the last time. Camille Eve was a very forgetful person. "Oh, you stupid, stupid witch," she continued berating herself. Strangely, it made her feel warmer. She laughed quietly at the realization. She lifted her eyes to gaze around the street she was walking on. The sun was going down just a bit, which explained some of the cold. Some orange and pink streaks across the sky coated her eyes with beauty. "Isn't it amazing?" she asked no one in particular as the temperature around her dropped a bit more.
"Wait a minute," she murmured. "Isn't the Leaky Cauldron somewhere around here?" Of course it was. Actually, it was just ahead. She shook her head at her silliness and headed towards it quickly. Two girls were heading towards each other, rather quickly at that.
Before Camille could say something, they collided rather violently. One of the girls fell heavily on her arm. Forgetting how cold she was, Camille ran quickly towards the pair in time to hear the standing girl say, "Hey! Watch where you're going!"
Camille knelt carefully by the fallen girl. "Hello, are you alright?" she asked kindly.
