You are teleported to the heart of a maze. It is obvious that you as well as your peers have been magically teleported to this space. The air here is full of colors, illusionary butterflies flit past you. You see one fly right through a classmate and then flutter off. The instructions here were simple, find a partner and traverse this maze but beware, errant adventures turn out to be the fool. Yes, it would seem that this is a place for both tricks as well as treats. This year’s maze was fairytale themed, if one would have read the muggle-books, they would find the things here rather... familiar as if they were teleported right into the book itself, a fairytale come true for some. Those that had not read the books would simply find this a normal maze.
As you look around you notice that there are 4 paths that you can take. One to the North, one to the South, one to the East and One to the West. Moss covered flagstones mark the paths of this natural maze. Which way will you pick. Before you took a single step, a piece of folded neatly parchment would magically appear with a puff of crackling blue smoke. This letter will float gradually down like a feather right onto the the lap of Rowan Bane. The cursive words would read ~
<<Team 2, the special case. For your teammate, Rowan’s, safety please do keep a close eye on him throughout your journey into the maze. Should you ever find yourselves in desperate need to leave this confinement, ask the walls to show you the way and they may. Without further ado, enjoy yourselves in this place full of wonders!>>

The usual 200+ word count rule has been reduced to 60+ words. You and your teammate(s) must stick together. If you are unable to make a decision which path to take by the end of this week, either the majority decision wins or a roll will be done to determine your path.
Action success, spells and physical attacks for example, are determined by a d20 roll accompanied with your stats. Results above 15 will be considered successful while anything less is not. Quote your actions and stats in your posts for easier reference.

The entrance had been jarring. Teleportation, then blasted with a wave of colour. His mind was reeling, to say the least. Though with what he could process, he saw the butterfly pass through Celynne before the letter was dropped in his lap. This maze was magical, and it would definitely be screwing with his head.
As he read over the letter, he determined they were officially the special snowflakes. Two gays, Two mentally unstable humans, And one just flat out broken child who couldn't walk.
Amazing.
Rowan sighed softly, however he appreciated the way out. He hoped they wouldn't need to use it though. He folded the paper and slipped it inside his robes, before he looked to the rest of his group members.
He knew what he himself was equipped with, however what his teammates had was beyond him. A swiss army multi-tool, medical kit, a medium sized knife, and his wand were his main tools. Need be, he also had his leg braces and crutches strapped to the bottom of his wheelchair, if they had to leave the bulky contraption behind for a moment or two. It really would be annoying to loose it though, as he would have to get another one sent to him. In an ideal world though, he would only need to use the multi-tool for a puzzle.
"East?"
Their nods of agreement was all he needed before he set off, somehow leading this mess. Their journey had officially begun.
"So what has everyone brought to the table?"
If he knew what the others had, it would make problem solving much easier. And there was already a problem, he found. The illusions. If the butterflies were fake, who knew what else could be.
The group travels east.

Solvitur ambulando.
Shaking her head slightly, Cel blinked hard—was it possible to blink hard, or was that the wrong word?—a couple of times in disorientation. Teleportation was not a form of transportation that she had ever been acquainted with, and quite frankly she'd rather have just walked. Certainly it was fast and convenient, but still a far cry from comfortable. Was this what Apparition felt like?
Butterflies fluttered about, one passing through her thigh. Illusionary, then. She raised a hand in the path of another—yep; it went right through her. Honestly, from what she could see, this place resembled your basic enchanted forest from a classic more than anything else. Was it meant to look like that? Most likely.
The girl peered over Rowan's shoulder to read the note's scribbled contents. Hopefully the Maze wouldn't have any large steps or otherwise extremely difficult to navigate terrain, but judging from the consideration of that parchment, there probably wouldn't be anything too concerning. And, well, hopefully they could get through the entire thing safely without needing to quit.
Among her many concerned debates this morning was the question of what exactly she was supposed to bring. The weather was nice, she supposed, and she was not going to class, which opened up her clothing choices, but those were the least of her worries. A nice sheathed leatherman was ready on her waist, obviously, but she'd ended up also tucking a coil of paracord into the thin belt because why not as well as some gauze. She'd debated whether or not to bring a blade, almost decided not to, actually, since she already had a leatherman, but her tanto had a longer blade and would probably work better if she had to kill anything.
East was a guess as good as hers. She shrugged in response—no point in saying no, was there?—and followed behind the three at a leisurely pace. She was the only Second Year in the group, apparently, meaning that she likely had the most magical knowledge. Not that it was much of a step, though. Her wand was ready in her hand; her reflexes had shifted from going for a blade to going for a wand over time. Her fingers flitted over the handle idly as she walked.
"Paracord, really short dagger, gauze, and multitool," she rattled off, casting a glance around the maze to see if anything was happening. "Also a demented sense of humor and truckloads of sarcasm, if any of those are useful. Hopefully you two are less easily killed than I am."ACTIONS

[quote]You have until 26th April to get your posts in as well as decide on your route to take if you have not done so already. At least 2 players are required for the maze to continue. If an additional layer has not posted by the 26th, the maze with continue without that player. Should only one or no player(s) post by then, the group will be eliminated and therefore will not be able to continue.

First, they were at the lake, next they were here? Miko blinked several times before adjusting to the different scenario. All he had to do was look down and a little to his left to read the letter. Or was it a note? Either way he was reading the thing with words on it.
Keep an eye on Rowan? The statement seemed a bit strange but Miko would abide.
Miko pat Rowan's shoulder reassuringly and moved alongside his teammates. He listened to what the others had and got a bit confused as to why they had weapons but he couldn't say anything, the boy had one as well. After Celynne spoke the Hufflepuff cleared his throat, his excited grin finally showing fully.
"I've got my wand, a utility knife, medical tape, and also a pen for some reason." Yes, a pen. Whether the pen would come to use was beyond any of the children but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be. Pens are good.
"I also have me but I dunno if that counts much."
The more he spoke the more he realized that his thick accent was wearing off and once more anyone could understand him! For some reason that happened only to him and his father which was a tad embarrassing especially at family reunions. Every time Miko got really excited, really nervous or really angry his already not-very-understandable accent got even more not-very-understandable. Most of the time when he got really angry that's when his accent reached it's thickest point and it made him sound like he was speaking Gibberish which in fact he was not.
Muggle books were something Miko had always enjoyed even though none of his family was muggle. The fair-tale ones he usually just enjoyed criticizing on how much they didn't make sense but he still liked reading them. Of course the lad preferred magical books and ones who brought the smallest fantasies to life but muggle books had an interesting insight on things. They saw things differently than the magical community, way differently in fact. Miko just thought all of that was interesting. The maze looked like it came straight from one of those fairy-tale books he had read before which was strange, he wondered if it would be like one as well.
Over all there was one thing and one thing only Miko wished for. Trouble.

You and your partner(s) decide to go EAST, after a rather short walk, you are met with a crossroad that appears to have three paths of exit. Straight ahead, about mid-way there is a path marked with these same flagstones and directly ahead you would see a wall of bushes showing the terminal point of the path ahead, perhaps the trail takes a sudden turn or perhaps it was a dead end or another door awaited. To your left is a path that appears to end with a perfectly round bright green door left ajar. It would looks like something like the cottages doors in the hobbit. Your other option was to your right is another doorway this one carved from cavestone leading into a tunnel.
Options:
A.) Continue Down Path (East)
B.) Through Hobbit Door (North)
C.) Through Tunnel (South)
