A Visit Pv Owl to join Closed

Donny sat down in the waiting room, along with his friend Jade. He was nervous to say the wrong thing, something that might come out wrong, but he tried despite his initial worries of being an idiot to his friend at the time. He second thought about it, until he placed a soft hand on Jade's shoulder, looking down at the ground, he was just trying to comfort her. "It'll be okay Jade, I'm almost sure it will be." he said shakily. He didn't really know how bad it was, all he'd known from previous conversations with Jade, was that her mother had a spell rebound upon her, and she got injured severely. He did hope that she would be okay, it wasn't in anyone's best interest to be injured, and he knew that for a fact.

"Maybe...maybe I can meet them-I mean, if it's all good and dandy with you and them, your parents of course." he said, now crossing his fingers, and looking at his once more unlaced shoes. He knew today was about Jade, not him, so he needed to be respectful, and try not to joke so much, it was quite somber in St. Mungo's, besides that lunatic old people, who probably had a memory charm bounded upon them.     

Jade's expression lightened a bit at Donny's remarks. "Of course you can meet them, I didn't bring you all this way just so you can sit in the waiting room" Jade said with a slight smile. Jade was glad he was here, after all, it was a great chance for her Parent/s to meet him. She had told them quite a lot about him in her letters, leaving out some of the less fortunate events.

After what seemed like years someone finally came to get them. "Are you Jade Murphy?" A young girl -a nurse from her uniform - asked Jade. After taking a shuddering breath, Jade nodded. "You'r Mother will see you now, follow me" She said turning slightly, ready to set off down the hall once they got up.

Jade stood and grabbed Donny's hand, pulling him along with her. The girl lead them down a hallway, up a few flights of stairs, and around multiple corners. Jade tried to remember what turns they had taken, looking at all the sings, but Jade couldn't retain the information.

They walked into a room, from the looks of it there was only one bed in it, so at least her Mom would have a private room. They walked around the curtain and were greeted with a fairly bad site. Her Mom was in a bed, she was pale and looked, horrible.  

Jade walked over to her "M-Mom, h-how are you feeling?" Jade asked nervously.

"I'm fine dear, or I will be. Your father will be here shortly, he should have been here by now, he must have got caught up in work... Who's this you've brought with you?" Her Mom asked with a slight smirk.

Donny blushed as Jade's mom gave a smirk when she mentioned him. He stepped forward and cleared his throat. "Er...I'm Donnovan Perrywinkle." he said shortly, then adding, "Or-Donny rather." he stated, fixing his glasses, and facing downwards upon the hospital bed. Her mother didn't look very healthy, and he didn't know what spell backfired, but he did know it would have been detrimental if she hadn't had the help that she had now. "I'm a friend of Jade's." he added, just to...well, clear things up. The nurse came back in occasionally, after he and Jade were seated, and chatting with her mother. He wanted to have a good impression on her, you know, being Jade's friend and all.

"...And I am a proud Hufflepuff, and make, well, reasonable grades!" he added, trying to lighten the solemn mood of the hospital room. He smiled, and took a seat across from Jade's mother. "Can I ask? What should I call you?" he asked her, kind of embarrassed. After all, he didn't know that is was right to call her "Jade's mother" all the time, and never "Mother" but it was an honest question all the same. "Just-you know, in case we meet in the future, which I'm sure we will as long as I'm friends with Jade!"
