Being new to the school, Veronica decided to give herself a little tour. She'd had no idea where she'd ended up after taking a few wrong turns here and there. Shed become completely turned around that she was now roaming the halls aimlessly.  "Where am I? I feel like I've been going in circles." She sighed as she turned to the left, but stopped when she saw two closed doors. They were quite large, but unlocked, and opened slightly.

Curiosity getting the better of her, Roni entered quietly, in case someone was already inside. When she didn't see anything or anyone, Veronica entered the extremely large room. In awe she turned in circles, taking in every detail of the room.  It was decorated in a winter style, icicles hanging from the walls, turning the entire room into a winter wonderland. Something in the room brought back a bad memory though, causing her to feel upset.

As Roni began to sing, she began to do a one person waltz, moving with each beat of the song, in perfect timing.

"Lately I’ve been thinking, thinking about what we had
And I know it was hard, it was all that we knew, yeah!

Have you been drinking, to take all the pain away?
I wish that I could give you what you deserve
'Cause nothing can ever, ever replace you
Nothing can make me feel like you do, yeah!

You know there’s no one, I can relate to
I know we won’t find a love that’s so true

There’s nothing like us
There’s nothing like you for me
Together through the storm

There’s nothing like us
There’s nothing like you for me, together

I gave you everything babe
Well, everything I had to give
Girl, why would you push me away?

Lost in confusion, like an illusion
You know I’m used to making your day

But that is the past now, we didn’t last now
I guess that this is meant to be

Tell me, was it worth it? We were so perfect
But baby I just want you to see

There’s nothing like us
There’s nothing like you for me
Together through the storm

There’s nothing like us
There’s nothing like you for me, together

There’s nothing like us
There’s nothing like you for me
Together through the storm

There’s nothing like us
There’s nothing like you for me, together
"

Roni sighed as she finished her dance. She whipped away the tears that were softly flowing from her eyes. She'd never felt this kind of sadness.

Luna walked into the ballroom. It was one of the only places she hadn’t yet explored at Hogwarts, and as a first year she was very keen to see the whole school. As she entered, the first thing she noticed was how big it was, with the beautiful ceiling and polished floor, it looked immaculate, even though it was not in use. He second thing Luna noticed was a girl. The girl was singing a song and dancing a waltz, and Luna couldn’t stop watching, until the girl finished. Luna looked a little closer and was surprised to see that the girl was actually crying.

Luna was a bit awkward, so she wasn’t sure what to do. She thought she should try and comfort he girl- she also looked like a first year- but Luna wasn’t sure how to do that. Luna approached the girl slowly, so she didn’t scare her. “Hey, are you okay?” Luna asked quietly. Heat rose in Luna’s cheeks, even though she had no reason to. She cursed her awkwardness, it made it much harder for Luna to make friends at Hogwarts, she had no friends so far. She hoped this girl would be nice to her, and maybe be her friend.

Veronica jumped from the sudden sound behind her. Sniffling a few times she quickly whipped away her tears. ¨I'm alright. Just got a little too into the song." She offered a weak smile as she walked over to where her cloak was resting on one of the chairs that were set up in the room. Veronica could sense the awkward air that was beginning to fill the room. She hated the uneasiness that came with talking to strangers. "I'm Veronica, Veronica Turner." Picking up her cloak, she had it positions so the color of her house couldn't really be seen, although she was intentionally trying to hide it, it was just how she had picked it up.

"What's your name?" Veronica took a seat, taking in the appearance of the female before her, trying to decide what kind of character she was. The female was very mild in nature, keeping slightly to herself. The girl was adorned with yellow lined robes, distinguishing her as a Hufflepuff. Veronica loved talking to Hufflepuffs. They were always so kind, and don't often judge others for how they act...at least that's what she's been told. Veronica gestured towards the chair next to her. "Please, take a seat."
